Industrial Uses & Applications of Abaca Fiber

This video explains the Industrial uses & applications of our Abaca fiber that our farmers are producing, and 90% exported to wealthy nations. Abaca demand has just spiked 5 folds to 125,000 metric tons almost double the current production.
Abaca is indigenous to the Philippines. It is the strongest and the longest natural fiber in the world and it thrives well on upland areas from 200 to 800 meters above sea level and under shade trees (30% - 50% shaded). This is due to our rich volcanic soil and our 4 unique Types of climate. It is our homegrown industry and a gift from God to the Filipino nation. Plant it once, take care of it for the next 18 to 24 months, follow the Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) on abaca, join an abaca cooperative and the farmers will never replant for the next 40 years and earn a yearly income starting on the 3rd year with a minimum annual earnings of P250,000 and maximum P1,000,000 at a density of 1,600 hills per hectare.
The Abaca Fiber Price Situation

Market Outlook
Abaca has a high potential to substitute glass fibres in multiple automotive parts and is currently well recognized as a material for paper products. Although abaca is mainly cultivated in the Philippines today, supply could be increased if other countries in tropical and humid locations were to establish industry. The knowledge and the experience about production and processing gained can easily be transferred to other countries.

Very dangerous question that might lead you to discover answers that uncle Sam and the predatory offsprings of the British East Indie company will never want an indio like us to hear. You can start off by searching theory of unequal exchange.

if filipinos are smart, why not raise the prices of abaca? lol...., i think the banana farmers are being kept ignorant that their product is just as valuable as oil

Wala ka palang utak eh. Hindi mo makukumpara ang oil sa abaca. Majority ng oil is non renewable. Utak talangka.
