I've done some furniture and I'm really proud of the industrial styled picture frames I've been putting out. No where near your skill level (which is top knotch), but for a guy who taught himself via trial and error I'm on my way. Just found your channel. Totally enjoying your work. I found some driftwood down on the beach by Galveston and decided it wood make an awesome workbench. It looked to be someone's dock that had been destroyed by a hurricane. The dimensions of the wood was 3" x 6" x 6'. I laid the 6" flat and drilled through 4 of them and the fifth one I drilled and made 3/8's threads about 3 inches deep into the wood. I the threaded an all thread into it and slid the other boards on to the all thread. I drilled a larger hole on the back to set the washer and thread into the back of the benchtop. When I tightened the nut on the four all threads, it pulled the boards together tight enough that it made them like they were a big slab. I have used it for many years and it is still tight as can be and the thread into the wood has not loosened at all. Thanks for the content West Weld!!! I subbed also!!!

Excelent work! ...... You know what i love to do....the whole table is excelently custom made, but the bolts are not, the heads are with some standard writing on them. Personally what i love to do, is take take the bolt, clamp it into the acu drill, spin it, than take the angle grinder with the flap disc and wipe the writing of and round a bit the top edges to make it look bit more like a rivet but still a usable bolt. It take few seconds more, but it worth it. You end up with the kind of custom made bolt witch goes perfectly with the custom made table.
