Industrial Control System (ICS) and SCADA: Risks and Solutions
This is the twelfth in the series of USAID webinars on Digitalization and Cybersecurity in the Energy Sector hosted by E3.
This presentation provides an overview of Cybersecurity for Electric Utility OT control system environments such as ICS, DCS, IIoT and SCADA networks. We will cover some key topics including:
- Prominent threat models and risks associated with cyberattacks to grid infrastructure
- Core concepts of OT/ICS-specific security frameworks and regulations

Impressive presentation. Del, Mikhail shared. Was it default settings where the threat agent accessed OT network after accessing IT network via spearphishing. Wondering how they destroyed the firmware. Much to research after this bountiful presentation. Reviewing MITRE attack Framework for ICS. NIST ZERO TRUST. Unlike IT it seems as though regs that differ include OT orgs not reporting a breach. Thank you Kristen and Jake.
