There is not a single evidence of whole Vedic period in india. And the university nalanda built when buddhisam was at peak and by Buddhist kings . And not only those University were destroyed by Mughals but also destroyed by Hindu kings , bcz if you know enough Vedic brahman system wete Agaisnt the education of shudra while buddhisam see all as equal.

India was considered to be the heaven, indus valley was just a city of India , china called india TianZhu which means center of heaven , Indians were considered to be an important person because they hold knowledge, Gaurav varanasi is older city than Indus valley civilization but no archeological researches is ever done in vast scales, I hope in the future some researchers will be done... And if ur talking about origins of Hinduism then listen it was practised all over the world even Iraq and Iran were having hindu king , some temples have been found in the jungles of America, u can do some research of all these stufs..

The recent research shows that Stupa in the IVC is from the same period of IVC. It means Sindhu Civilization was a Buddhist. It is of previou Budhha. The names of previous Buddhas are mentioned in Fa-Hiyan's book who travelled in India.

@@stylishkudi2730 Buddhism, Jainism are part of Shramana/ Samana ( श्रमण/ समन) tradition; Sanatan Dharma is part of Brahmana tradition. Samana tradition's language is Prakrit (there are many languages within Prakrit); Brahaman tradition did Samskara on Prakrit and created Sanskrit. Brahaman tradition has concept of Ishwar; Samana tradition has concept of Bhagwan. If person from Brahaman tradition takes ascetic life, he is known as Rishi Viz. Valmiki Rishi; If Samana tradition person takes ascetic life he is known as Muni Viz. Shakya Muni, Jain Muni. Chanting mantra is the feature to connect Ishwar in Brhamana tradition; Meditation is the feature to connect Self in Samana tradition. Within Samana, Jain claims total 24 Teerthankaras; Buddha claim total 28 Buddhas. Out of 28, there are evidences of three Buddhas but most Indians know only Gotama The Buddha. Brahaman & Samana tradition has opposite philosophy but over the thousands years both influenced each other and adapted each other's culture/ traditions.

@@nothingexists5066 Right but you are talking about current civilization's Buddha. There are two more Buddhas whose archeological evidences are found. The IVC Stupa is of the previous Buddha. Btw, every religion can claim so but it has to be backed by proper research & evidences. In the IVC case, material used in Stupa is of IVC period not after 600 BCE

Shiva is not mentioned in Rigveda and vedas are written in Indo - European language Sanskrit And New Research Studies showed that Indus valley civilization people used to speak Proto - Dravidian languages
