This is a single malt whiskey. I intend to do a lot of single malt whiskey reviews in the coming weeks and months. There's Kaamet, Rampur, Amrut, other Goan whiskeys, Oban, Talisker and so on. Trying to find the right path. I had a slight hangover but it was not very bad. I should not have mixed my drink with Glenfiddich 18.
I purchased this from defence colony.

I also got Golfer's shot, Aristocrat, a few other cheapy whiskeys.

Just bought it last week! Here is my review: Very mild and sweet. Strong vanilla smell. Even the malt flavor is subdued. Its one of the most 'on the rocks drinkable' whisky IMO. After having two drinks you feel the 'alchohol high' but don't feel 'daru pee hai'. Its so subtle/sweet in taste.

BTW the Master distiller for Indri and Kamet is the same person (part of team). Mr Surinder Kapur. I had both and they are very very similar.
Indri single malt indian whisky is rated as the best single malt indian whisky, distilled in Haryana...cheers 🥂 it proves you are a good whiskey connoisseur/ sommelier, not bad, for a year old review when the award was not annouced.
Gave it to my friend for birthday and saath mai taste bhi krr liya. Chatpata drink hai iska. Some would like it some would not. Definitely worth a shot.
Having indri watching it... Its true... Its kinda spicy... Not spicy but peppery... So if u like peppery and woody then its good.. And its very smooth.... Doesn't give single burn...

Well, its a nice but average entry level single malt but buddy you have described it very well, I really appreciate your review, Indian single malts have to improve a lot. Btw it gives very good high.

Hi ! Thanks for the warnings on the Gurugram spurious brands. Don't you think having whiskey with ice numbs your palates which hides the actual tastes from your palate?

im a seasoned ice consumer and have capacity to endure more and if I have always done one thing it does not feel like I am missing out at all. In fact when I don't use ice, I dont enjoy whiskey.

The initial taste is good but the finishing is too much it leaves a bad taste. I hope they change the finishing taste.

It’s surprising how so many people like the taste of sherry and maritime salts in their whiskey. How whiskeys like old pulteney and classic laddie sell is a shock to me.
