During my 6 day food journey at Indore, I covered Breakfast, lunch and dinner. I enjoyed Poha in breakfast that is the main staple food of Indore. For lunch and dinner i visited popular and famous food joints.
Summary of restaurants where i had food in Indore is given below:
Day - 1 - Breakfast
Prashant Poha - This is the most famous breakfast joint of Indore famous for being the oldest for bringing Poha culture in Indore.
I found the Poha at this restaurant to be nice, tasty, low spices. Prashant has more than one shop in Indore, i visited their shop at Rajwada. Address below:

Guru Kripa - This is a famous restaurant of Indore, every person whom i met at Indore told me that this is best food joint of Indore, which is perhaps the reason why i visited Guru kripa on day one.

Sabhi jagah ka khana badhiya hai.ap bachpan se jo chij kha rhe ho wo apko bahut achhi lagegi.ab apko rajma chawal makke di roti Sarao ka saag apko normal lagega.ya pasand nhi ayega kyuki wo chij apne bachpan se nhi khaye

The reason I love poha because I got exposed to it in Indore. No one beats that flavor. I don't know but I remember eating poha from Madhuram in Vijaynagar. 2004-05.

It's Indian food, not Arabic, although some foods are inter-cultural as ancient Arabic culture and Indian culture interacted and intermixed.

#harishbali sir must must eat in #indore at sarafa market in night 1.bhutte i:e corn ka kees 2.gadaalu ki chaat 3.dahi vada where seller flies vada in air i m forgetting name 4.pani puri with 5-7 paani 5.coconut crush juice 6.ghamandi ki lassi 7.sabudane ki khichdi in 56 dukaan at vijay chaat house 1.patees 2.matar ki kachori 3.paan gillory 4.shikanji lassi. & buy some namkeens from om n try different types of sev like patli sev,moti sev,lehsun ki sev,sweet gajak made of til n gud n sugar for ur home, dont leave indore before trying above u will regret a lot. thank you #visa2explore

No they are not. Sarson is slightly bigger and black. Rai is quite small and deep brown in colour. Though many people use it interchangeably.

What’s the point of having south Indian food in Indore? I would like to see more of street food like the poha place for breakfast. The moment you get into an A/c restaurant the nativity/originality of the place is lost. I am sure Indore has a long history and sure has some old city street food places. I tend to disagree a bit. As per my experience, Indore offers one of the best south Indian dishes I've ever eaten. No offense.

You maybe right but “personally” if I were to go to Indore for the first time, I wouldn’t try something I more or less would have on a daily basis, no matter which part of the world I live in. If I were to travel to a new place, I would do something that I don’t do/eat on a regular basis. I have friends from Indore, who speak volumes about the namkeen and other local food which I can’t remember right now. I wouldn’t mind eating idli if there is something that is unique about Indore idli that I have never had before.

The Poha in Indore is very light and very simple in recipe, however because of the Narmada River water, the taste of all food around this region is damn good. Indore is love.

Loved yr Madhya Pradesh video. South Indian dishes in MP? You have whole of South to do that. The main difference between tomato soup and tomato rasam is tamarind juice, Rasam is not rasam without tamarind juice. Straight translation of kheer is 'payasam'. Elaneer payasam means coconut water kheer! Just felt informing you.Now you seem to be moving South. All the best.

visa2explore basic ingredient in both sambhar and rasam is tamarind juice, in sambhar its a thicker version while for rasam its thinner version.

Lara Pinto Yes right Pinto ji, I am from Delhi and I relish the North Indian version of South Indian dishes but when Bali ji was comparing tomato soup and tomato rasam, he forgot to mention the basic ingredient and i wanted to just remind him. Dishes are not just confined to one particular region and they move as we move from one place to another and the taste too changes and that's the exciting part.👍

Stuff you get in jalgaon city, you won't find those dishes anywhere in INDIA, 100 percent unique and need to tried once. For example, we eat MANDA along with mutton curry, which is a mix of wheat, refined wheat, and egg. It is as big as dinning table.

In Indore and Nimar Region of Madhya Pradesh , we eat the same MANDA with mutton curry which you are telling about...U are right, it's the combination and taste which you can't find anywhere else.... You will crave it for repeatedly after a few days.... Nothing can match GOSHT MANDA Taste...😋😋
Sir dilli me indori poha name se kachra banate hain, mene 4 saal waha poha ke naam pe pulao, ya geela poha ya pohe ki subzi banate hain.. Haan dilli ke samose, chhole bhature mast hain..😋😋

Hummus wo arabic dish hai jo pehli baar khaane mei samajh ni aati par jab 2 se 3 baar khaa lo toh nasha chad jaata hai usse khaane ka , humus is ❤️
