@@prakharm4166 me chhattisgarh se hu chhattisgarh jitna ghatiya state iss duniya me kahi ni ..maderchod yaha ki road bahut ghatiya ..5-6 saal tk hum pareshan hote h fir protest fir 2-3 saal bad road bnta h ..wahi mere gaon se 8 km odisa h bahut hi badhiya road h waha pe ..waha ke log gali dete h cg ke road ko dekh kr ..bahut saram ki baat h ki me chhattisgarh ka hun ..
Around a decade ago people used to compete between Indore and Bhopal. But in the last 10 years Indore has taken a huge leap and gone far ahead.

Indore is indeed a great city. Amazing food, pleasant cleanliness, friendly people. The only few things that need to change are 1. People need to drive carefully on the roads. They're too fast for city roads 2. Extreme honking. Too loud. 3. Autorickshaws need to run by meter.

Indore was never capital. Nagpur was capital of Central Provinces. Though Indore was capital of Holkars which was also later moved to Maheshwar.

Indore and Gwaliar were capital of "Madhya Bharat" state. Central provinces and Berar (including chhattisgarh) had capital Nagpur. Vidhya Pradesh and Bhopal were other entities. 4 merged and carved (Vidharbh out) to form Madhya Pradesh till 2000. Then chhattisgarh was formed.

Indore was indeed core hub for maratha expansion . Indore indeed has major hub .It's great that it's not Capital of any province that would had put political pressure on its core infrastructure .Pune too was never capital of anything . So it bloomed beyond Mumbai.
