Great interview with a down to earth guy. Quality vs quantity discussion really hit home with me.

Hey Chris, can you help me with something bud? Like.. I was wondering. What program/app do you use to record and edit on? Specifically.. like.. how you have you on one side, and the other person on the other side in the video. What do you use to do that? Also.. what camera do you use? Thanks bud. ~Jeff~

@@noconsentgiven Thanks bud. I have actually watched quite a good bit of his videos. You wouldn't happen to have a link or a description name for the one that would have that info by any chance would you? Reason I wanna know this info is I am currently building a 12x12 room.. lined with Orca grow film and everything, and I plan on making my own channel where I have a setup that is similar to his.. with the interviews and such. And I wanna have the ability to show the room, show progress of the grows, answer questions to my viewers, do interviews.. and just everything like that. I just don't know which would be the right camera and editing stuff and all that.

I currently have 4 Runtz OG in a 2'x3'x5' and I'm fairly certain that 75 days in veg even if only in 3 gallon plastic pots was too long. 😂 Plants were 12" tall after training but laid down flat to a 16" wreath shape after lollipopping. Now if I'm in a 2'x3' and if 4 canopy's are laid flat then I need 5'4". It's fairly simple math that I'm coming up 2' short 😂(coming up short....the story of my life) 😂😂but I flipped to flower 5 days ago and they've already stretched approximately 3" but since the height ain't a issue I'ma give 'em a full send and hope none are males! *Organic grow *Cootz mix...... 33/33/33 *Dr. Earths amendments *10 red wigglers in each pot *No cover crop/mulch *Tap Water pH fluctuates between 5.8-6.0 *Tap Water is always left open for 72 hours to dechlorinate *Soil pH 6.0-6.4 *Never measured runoff or ppm

Another pro to flushing, the re-usability of your media. When I have used those plastic bags, i used expanded clay pebbles in the bottom inch, helped with my drainage and i was less worried about the water in the bottom being oxygenated. Worked through flower without extra holes on some smallies.
So the key thing is to find out what works for you got it 👍

Buy some Berkey replacement filters and 2 food grade 5 gallon buckets and a spigot and make your own filter, it takes about 15 minutes to make and takes most everything out of the water and 2 of those filters will filter 6000 gallons before they need replaced, replacement costs around $70, works great
Awesome, thanks guys!
With modern LED lights its within EVERYONES reach to grow 1lb in a 1m3 area. With a little work and dialing in a strain, you could pull 2lbs.
If getting seeds isn't an issue, I'd rather have 3 photoperiods in my 2x2. Just keep them smaller but it's a faster veg and turnaround. Vegging for 4 months does not help perpetual grows for me.

Yup it’s the turn around which wasn’t mentioned but it’s the reason most people run more plants and turn to flower in a month or less
I enjoy grow in really small boxes. But since i got myself es300 v3, i need to upgrade of space. Till now they (2) plants was in small drovers. Hell of a fun. Small plants with plenty branches like wedding bouqe.
I would like to see all these different growers setups as well!!!!!

You can also take the water runoff from your RO system. And it can be used with a little bit of work for things like flushing the toilet

How come back in the 80's-90's we didn't ph or feed like now a days and we had beautiful indoor plants? 🤔
It's cool your always talking to people that go from 20+ yrs of exceptional grow experience to people who e just started onto their 2nd n 3rd yrs .. Ive been growing a while but by far am any type of professional grower/breeder/cloner but I will say I still do my thing... It's be killer to end up getting to meet up or do a show w/ you at some point... If I end up opening up my Lil grow biz again, which It's looking like I will over this next yr or so, but that stuff would be awesome. .. I could just brag n shit n be like ohh yeah well did you ever feature a show with Mr GrowIt 🤣... I do have a feeling for some reason that we have met somewhere before tho... I don't forget a face or name very easily all to often... And the hand gestures when you talk n a few others kinda seem really familiar stuff to... Idk I kinda feel like we've talked at some point before.... You ever been through Oklahoma and hung around a while.?.?
It's nice to listen to your shows so I can learn more & more with each episode 💪 I would really like you to make one with "rows of green" he is also master grower.. thanks and by by from Slovenia
one reason i grow at home is because missouri's market quality isn't really there. what i grow is usually equal or better to any random strain that i can't smell touch or even look at before i pay good money for at a dispensary.
Nice man
I think after trying autos im going to try phenos sounds so much more fun to work with
Just need to put the humidifier between the 2 tents. No need to hang anything or take away from space inside the tent. It’s worked for me

Amazing what an experienced gardener can do with a small space , I'm lucky to have plenty of room and it takes a 5x5 to keep me and family supplied , plus I'm old and lazy so I don't like spending hrs training !
2 blue food grade barrels, fill with tap water, let it settle. Run it through a home made wine filter if you have to. KEEP THE COST DOWN. Plants and especially weed have no idea of bottled "nutrients". The English allotment guy growing food and stuff for his family will not be seen much in a grow shop. If it costs a lot to grow, WHY BOTHER. Mostly FREE weed and veg feels so much better.
One of the best podcasts yet. Got so much from this
if you've got a 2X2, DO NOT grow auto Northern Lights. that things stretches. so much so that if you've only got a 2X2, you're not gonna like it. Love this show & your guest.
Your own worm castings, organic compost, rain water, soaked egg shells with Epsom salts, seaweed spray. Dont water the soil till you do the finger test. Flushing is not part of the growing process. Try to find a leaf that does not look perfect. Tomato's the same.
Yes
just fill the buckets up. when u flush your toilet pour the water into the tank when it starts refilling, no water is wasted.
I live in Vegas too. What I did was run ducting from my central AC I rigged it to run into my tent which is in my walk in closet bc I was at 91 an keeps it at the high end 83
YEEEEES!!!
My water is hard like Mr. SparkzaLot so I buy RO water at fill-up stations and then cut it with my tap to make it go 2x as far and I just keep it in 45 gal trash cans with air stones.
Got to have 2 3x3 tents at very least. 4 in flower, 4 in veg when the 4 finish in the flower tent take cuts from the veg tent and them flower those 4 and put the cuts back in veg tent.
Thanks alot Mr,Grow you have helped me alot growing mostly your tips like feeding your soil instead of plants !!! Ty I would like to teach you my compost recipe Im poor cant afford all the fancy nutrients now I use compost rea with decomposed chicken manure a200 micron bag and five gallon bucket and fish tank aerator and black strap mollasses unsulfered..

i grow at 90+ with no issues at all. I follow vpd and dli and add co2.
What I use for water is water drop filter. My planys seem to like it compared to non-filter. I always thought RO was a waste of water
Iv got 190g on 2x2 under 120w 3 auto
I have two spaces I have a 3X3 and a 5x5. The 3X3 was simple the 5x5 is when it got complicated. That's when ventilation humidity heat or lack thereof and the pots got larger. I was growing in 5 gallon pots to begin with but I moved up to 10 gallon and it's just too much for a manageable grow. I don't know how I feel about having a veg tent and flower tent. I'm doing it right now but I have clones in the veg tent and I just feel like the clones take way too much time and energy versus a seed.
I grew a pair of plants that had an average temp of 55-60f through veg and flower (Canadian winter), they did fine... well, the GDP turned BLACK, but it was tasty.
