Reasons people use it is for places with bad biking accessibility and just ultra hot or cold climates, my dad has one of these since it gets up around 35 degrees minimum every day in summer

@Cornell D. Cavendish i think it is most to do with this thread being misplaced. As i said, this is professional equipment, and every top cyclist in the world uses it, but then you are bound to have dudes like the guy in this video, who are simply really wealthy and want some toys they don't need, just like you will routinely see your local dentist riding around the block on a 15 thousand dollar carbon fiber race bike. The tech isn't hijacking people off the streets, this tech is either used by pros who spend 90% of their life outside anyways, or by people who won't treat it like a cycling experience, rather as a way more expensive stationary bike machine.

not about the distance, is about the sweat. if you training with diferent clothes than the race, you might find that you were comfy with the clothes you training, but dislike the equipment you using on race

Had a back injury but not as bad as slip disk. Made me extremely grateful of biking as a hobby. Couldn’t ride for about 6 months. Still hurts and I can’t go as far but I can still get on

Thanks Francisco! The app is called Zwift; it requires you to have your bike hooked up to an indoor trainer. It’s a very interactive, social, and entertaining app; makes working out at home enjoyable.
