I did another upgrade of a Squier Bullet Stratocaster, this time one made in Indonesia, instead of China. I installed a Mojotone Solderless Convertible Strat Guitar Wiring Harness, with full sized 250K pots and installed a set of my own hand wound, single coil 1960's style pickups. I also installed a set of 70's style Fender replacement tuners and did some fretwork and neck adjustment. This was relatively quick and easy to do and It plays and sounds very good! It's a great gigging road guitar. You can do this yourselves, or take it to your local guitar shop and save.
