Very interesting thoughtful views. Yes the big companies are to blame but we also consume their products and services, new mobile phone less than every 3 years ? Air travel does cause a lot of CO2 and environmental damage so perhaps start taxing aviation fuel at 20% and make flights more expensive ? Manufacturers have a obligation to make products that can last so perhaps more simple phones with batteries that can be replaced (remember those?), better quality clothing from natural materials, fully recyclable electric or fuel efficient cars that are a decent size but not massive 4 by 4 suv's. VW group like many use recycled plastics in the interiors of their cars and batteries can be recycled, why don't Tesla fix their battery packs rather than sell you a new one ? A guy in the US simply cut out a bad single cell and the battery was fine again so why can't the larger cell banks be replaceable as a module ? Squad Solar are building a two seat (4 seat on the way) commuter car for £5000 that runs on solar and 4 interchangeable batteries People need to stop wanting 300 mile range EV's they use twice a year to do more than 100 miles and remove most of the rubbish led's and tech we don't need in a car. We need to stop flying food across the world and start manufacturing products in the UK and Europe again even though the cost will be more than double. All new buildings and houses should have solar panels as standard. We might not be able to stop climate change but we can slow it down. Humans are adding to climate change because of the way we live. Add taxes to Chinese made goods as well as USA, isn't that why we left the EU to set our own import tax rates ? Tax large European lorries from crossing the UK to go to Ireland as its cheaper than going by sea (that also damage our motorways).

I respectfully but wholeheartly disagree. Aviation fuel is another myth they lied to us about. Planes run on a fraction of fuel compared to what we are told and mostly compressed air.

Hi there are alot of ruins around here for sale. I am not sure exactly the one you mention however one of the ruins in the village collapsed with the rain we have had. The whole gable wall came down. The one I mention is actually for sale by a guy from Porto for around €35,000.

What fresh bullshit is this?!
