Time travel..scene ..swarnapaliye is a queen of a king who ruled anuradhapura in the very beginning called pandukabhaya..474 bc to 367bc one of sri lankas first kingdoms. The history is recorded in a book called mahawansha(one of the books like indias Mahakavya or Mahabharath), and its unclear about the origin of swarnapali..may be she was not from a royal background, but its said that when she served her king rice the leaf that they used to serve turned into gold. king pandukabhaya when he was born there was a royal conspiracy to kill him, because of that some guard who favoured the queens commands (pandukabhaya's mother unmadha chithra) hid the prince in a village and turned him to a normal village boy and until the time came prince had no memory that he was a son of a king.. anyway after knowing it.10 years later he got his thrown back..and the girl might have been some one from the village..(history does nt state it clearly) "ස්වර්ණ" means golden ...although its not confirmed in the archeological world. The king is good king because he was raised by normal village people, and he was responsible for setting the first administrative kingdom with administrative rule structure in anuradhapura. He was highly educated king who knew several languages to read and write, and also had set up an irrigational technique to capture water from manmade resvoirs. Music video is sort of time travel where he sees the version of himself..but what i explained is the main characters "queen swarnapalis" actual history. The girl who is in this video is actually sajithas real life wife. There was a film also of kind pandhukabhaya called "abha" long time back, it was a great film directed by jackson anthony(sajithas father) in 2008, and as i remember sajitha anthony was the main character on that particular film acting as the young prince. The film was one of the first international films in sri lanka released into three countries.
