@@alexbastos6960 very true. I don’t mind. I can see why people want the 3rd person perspective, it is very cool to see the character that you are. But I kind of find it unique to see the events unfold in Indy’s eyes. Maybe one day a future update can be that 3rd person

In my case, besides being a huge fan of the *_Tomb Raider_* and *_Uncharted_* franchises, I've also played *_Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb_* and *_Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings._* All in 3rd person, so I guess I'm kinda used to it for this genre.

I remember as a little kid playing “Fate of Atlantis” and “The Infernal Machine”. Now I feel like a kid all over again.

I kind of agree with you, but I would rather have the choice to change at any time between both perspectives, to better suit my needs and adapt to whatever challenge I'm facing. For instance, 3rd person almost all the time and 1st person for puzzle solving. Of course, the very best option is to give the players the choice at any time - like TES Oblivion and TES Skyrim, for instance.

I finally understand why third person is better in certain games you play only a male or only female protagonist. Third person allowing male and female players to observed the character. Male players dont feel awkward playing as Lara Croft or Female players dont feel awkward playing as Solid Snake. The only exception for first person games allows you to choose to play as male or female characters.

Honestly, i dont care that it aint third person, this is more immersive, it feels like i am actually Indiana Jones, i wish there was a vr game at this point.

I think it's funny these games that want to be first person, but then the time comes to do some action, they put it in third person, they don't make a game in third person but at times it's there, if the excuse is to be immersive in first person it has to be all the time, or just put both modes for the player to decide

Indiana Jones is an adventure saga and as such, the game should be in 3rd person not in closeup first person. This is not Call of Duty or Battlefield, this is an adventure game like Uncharted or Tomb Rider. They must let us choose, third person or first person gaming, otherwise is an no no buying.

I don’t mind the first person bit. I don’t mind the fact that I’m assuming that’s not actually Harrison Ford playing the voice. However, I will say that some of the mechanics look kind of silly. Like for instance, using the bull whip to act as a distraction device. Now would Indiana Jones have actually done that? Maybe. But still it seems kind of silly. Overall it definitely looks like it’s an interesting game. Hopefully it succeeds where others have failed. But most of all. Hopefully it doesn’t fall into the traps of using current day, political things when it is clearly meant to be said during the 40s.

Better than a movie - because you can take part. But, wait... what the hell? No PS5???

1937, after Raiders and before Last Crusade. Based on the trailer a few things can be inferred: - The shot of Indy sleeping at his desk with a glass likely means he was drinking, implying it’s after he broke off his engagement with Marion. Also suggested when Marcus says he can’t just run away from his problems. - The scene with the Japanese fighter planes most likely takes place in Shanghai when a battle took place from August to November of 1937.

Bethesda can make games which look actually good, the bigger concern is that they massacred pretty much every franchise they touched apart from doom.

For the idiots asking for 3rd person only. With the 1st Person option someone can convert it to VR... Extends the life of the game ffs.

Please come to PS5

First person feels like wearing you're wearing motorcycle helmet, and you're looking through the visor. Except for your hands... you can't see the rest of your body. Motion is TOO fluid, like you're gliding/hovering over the ground. Would be great to be able to toggle between persons. The only unrealistic thing about video games is that the on-screen player never seems to get tired, hungry, or realistically-hurt. No one ever has to go to the bathroom. Is taking a dump, and wiping your a$$ politically incorrect? Even Indiana Jones is not immune to that "not so fresh" feeling, at least once in a while. Sometimes I forget that it's just a game. I don't get out much.
