Sides is the single worst coach in the WNBA. I mean, do you know how bad you have to be to get outcoached by Weatherspoon? Stealing defeat from the jaws of victory - she had her single best player INBOUNDING THE BALL FOR A PLAY FOR THEIR WORST PLAYER WHO SHOOTS LESS THAN 10% CONTESTED THREES. Caitlin and Aliyah and Smith should ask to be traded. Wallace and Wheeler won’t even be in the league next fall. Sides won’t be coaching either - and she’ll never be a head coach again. Ownership and the front office just aren’t committed to winning and it’s embarrassing

I like the pick and roll with Boston , and I always knew how great of a passer CC is , but coach sides should give Caitlin full freedom in close games and late game situations and her teammates should be looking for her to take the shot.

CC has to find it within herself. This is a different environment than IOWA. She is experiencing so much resistance. Hopefully, the Fever organization will honor what CC brings to the table with higher quality teammates and coaches who have a healthier mindset towards her. Her game is what needs to speak the loudest in order to establish her pathway of greatness as a franchise player. She has to think bigger and play up and not down at a mediocre level to fit it. She has to think more of herself. She doesn’t have to be afraid because God is with her. Praying for CC’s greatness!

Look at the chance Kate Martin has gotten on an Aces team loaded with players vs the no chance Celeste Taylor got on a team that has no depth and porous defense. Crissy Sides is not a serious professional coach, these players deserve better.

Fever should've never drafted Clark. What a BS owner and clearly they can't handle a star player

They also just cut Celeste Taylor today their best defender. When you have Clark throw the ball in from the sideline at the end of the game when she should be the one hitting the buzzer beater just shows you how brain dead the coach really is.

Oh great. Sides throwing Caitlin under the bus again by saying she’s always had the green light. Contrast this to the Atlanta preseason game where Coach said Caitlin must always pass into the paint, needs to screen for wheeler, has 0.5 seconds to make a call, and always pass. Also do a KZread search of why the Fever are struggling and you will find many answers. For starters, they all point to the coach.

I admire Caitlin for so many reasons, her genuine self is so kind & well spoken. She puts her entire self into BB 🏀⛹🏻‍♀️

Maybe coach should look in the mirror, if she watched the film. Did not make an adjustment to bring a player off the bench to cover Carter. Allowed Reese to just take over the game with no answer to it. Only score 5 points in the last 7 minutes of the game because you change personal and call different sets.

She can't crap on the coach publicly, even though Sides deserves it. Her reps do need to be putting the squeeze behind the scenes on the GM and owner that this needs to change. Clark may need to force the issue after the season is over if the owner/GM won't act, by demanding a trade and/or refusing to play for SIdes. That'll get their attention. You can only be a nice girl up to a point. Sometimes you need to play hardball to get necessary change to happen.

She couldn’t have taken that shot where she passed to Boston. She had 2 defenders in her face. That’s why she passed to Boston on that last play. Boston should have hit into the paint and let Caitlin pass her the ball there or she ( Boston) should have drove the ball and made a close shot. She had 4 seconds still in the clock.

My understanding is Erica Wheeler is one of the highest paid players in the league. That's a joke Kristy Wallace trips over her own feet. Kelsey Mitchell thinks she's the only player on the court and she misses most of her shots.

I truly think this is the worst decision to get rid of Taylor. Sides don't know how great of a player she is. Big mistake, I truly wish they would release Caitlin, too.

The Fever needs to keep allowing CC speak and do all the interviews. CC knows basketball and her BB acumen and IQ sells the product. Fire Christy Sides she is not a quality coach

That's a good and bad thing. It's becoming quite obvious that they are literally just using her. using her for attendance and viewership...and using her for PR. Other than that, Sides lets her get to a certain point to satisfy the fans...but then puts her in the corner so her girlfriends can get some numbers. They were lucky in those situations to win the games they did...but the other night, it was clear to me what was happening. I'd love to know what was being said between Sides and the other coach...in their embrace after the game. Something is fishy and not right here.

It was implied that CC Is the only one with a basketball IQ. The other players interviewed were Black ....so there you go !!!!!!!!!!

Aliyah Boston stop lagging behind Caitlin Clark when she is bringing up the basketball, Aliyah Boston your place is being in front of Caitlin Clark when she is bringing the basketball 🏀 and you setting up screens and giving CC space to shoot the basketball and you going down the paint, setting up for a pass and get the rebounds.

No. Sometimes the center is supposed to trail and get the pass while she is running down the middle of the lane. Caitlin dished a couple to Boston on that play last game.

​@@v2807 No. At all times the center leads the way, the only time a center trails is after setting up a screen, then picks up the pace by the time the basketball handler gets to the 3-point line the center should be getting set up in the paint for a shot to the basket, a screen or layout and to fight for every rebound on offence and defense. @@Jricks1992 Same here, I especially like how she's shooting 40.6 standing underneath the basket, people don't give her enough credit for that. The big girl doesn't have any blocks either, but that's ok, blocks are overrated and she's only 15 games in after all.

Them speaking about defense and then waive Taylor rings pretty hollow. I'm not sure why they couldn't waive Saxton or Wallace. I mean Hull Berger and Taylor should of been the rotation with Wheeler

She had so many other plays that should have been cut before Taylor, players who have had an extensive amount of time to be on top of their game, I really don’t think this lady knows what she’s doing honestly

The 1 thing I have noticed with this team is there switching defense on screens is horrific. They need to communicate more instead of both going with screener or whatever because they give up wide open 3 point shots.

It’s her team, she’s the superstar… She has to take the big shots at the end of the game. She’ll get better.

Will someone ask her about her game adjustments and why she doesn’t make them?

I'm a Pittsburg Steeler fan, I'm seeing this all over again as I listen to these girls talk. They all say same thing tote the company line, wont/can't say the obvious. For the Steelers it was everybody trying to protect how bad Kenny Pickett was.
