The crazy thing about, a lot of East Indian's be just as dark, if not darker than Black folks. The ones in my hometown use to braid their hair, and wear dreadlocks, from a distance you think it was a brother. Got up close, some phenotype difference would you let you know they were East Indian or Bharatain I think some of that preferred to be called.

With that said, I've never had an East Indian. I've had Asian, White, Black, Mexican, but never Middle Eastern or Indian. They went after White guys if they didn't date their own. I only know one East Indian lady personally who dated Black guys. She ended up getting one of them deleted as she was messing three guys at the same time and got caught with the other guy. I had three total on my radar, but they never gave me the time of day or any brother.

The term india was the name of the country, and those people were called Indians for thousands of years, while native Americans were ignorant of the term until their encounter with white settlers.
