We just left one and these horses are way calmer then what we watched, I'd highly recommend if you can go to one, my husband is pretty certain the horses were juiced, totally insane, lots of hurt jockeys and handlers and hurt horses, they actually had to put one down on the track that collided with another horse

It’s be a little happier if the horses possibly had a slick fitting pad for their backs, seeing all that bouncing (Since it’s bareback) and them jumping onto the next horse unsettles me slightly. But other than that, this isn’t so bad

Pads are an unnatural barrier between horse and rider. Pads are unresponsive and cause rubbing and moisture at best, and wounds at worst. They trap dirt and sand in the skin and cause irritation. Horses cannot feel the subtle cues of the rider as intimately and are more likely to misunderstand the communication and perhaps cause an accident. You're understanding of healthy natural horsemanship needs a bit more research before passing judgement.

It may look fun but them horses don’t think it’s fun! I think this should be illegal! Jumping from one horse to another is not safe for one and for two it scares the horses!

They train a lot for these things beforehand and they know what they’re doing. Of course accidents can happen and people and horses can get hurt, but it doesn’t happen often. The horses are trained to be able to take the weight of the riders when they are switching out. By the time the horses are in the races they should be completely used to the jumping.

You're an idiot. You clearly have no understanding whatsoever of the horses mentality. I spent my whole life working with horses, 13yrs in horseracing specifically. These horses LOVE TO RUN and these tribes love their horses and obviously care deeply about their care. This relationship between tribes and horses has been established since time began and it clearly had benefited the equine. Stop with your ignorant nonsense talk until you have 50+ yrs of cleaning stalls.
