It's like this, you wouldn't expect a rookie basketball player to come in and outshine someone like a Michael Jordan, Larry Bird or Kobe Bryant etc....just would not happen, period. That being said, people love EZ for his skills, musicality, bars, cadance, flow, production, dance moves, etc...all his hard work combined that gives him that IT FACTOR 💯 EZ was on a song with his idol and was introduced to the world after being signed and I appreciated the vibe that he brought. His swag was so sick too 🔥 His voice is like a musical instrument, esp when doing the gun sounds. That beat and hook was 🔥 I can appreciate him being himself and opening up the floor by bigging up Eminem to come in on his verse, what a moment for him!!! That being said, I enjoyed his bars. No reason to try and compete with Em bc Eminem was the blueprint for EZ and ALL rappers. You can see his influence in EZ song Idk even though EZ really done that all by himself and it blew me away!!! Stevie should not have said that about Em dunking on EZ and 🏀🏀 in his face, way too far. I know he didnt know that the first verse was already written and I dont think SK took the time to think through how big of a moment that was for EZ being introduced to the world. He treated that like any other collab moment and that wasnt fair. He will think twice next time though 😂😂 Also, I know SK and his lady lost a baby so idk if it was around that time either so maybe he was having a bad day when he should have stepped away to heal. He's not a deep thinker anyways or like the professor here so thats just my two cents 🤷‍♀️ They squashed it like men so if they are cool, that's all that matters. Humans mess up and make mistakes.

Thanks for that fair assessment. I think you made a really good point which I agree. EZ respected these OGs/reactors. He came to the US as an immigrant at 17 years old. He worked at BK, tried the Air Force…anything so he can feed and support his family. All this while learning and sharpening the art of rap. He proved that he is a serious upcoming rapper by winning the Mark Beats challenge and then garnered millions of views when he performed Panalo on the Wish Bus for the very first time. Fast forward, his hard work finally paid off by signing with Em and Dre. What a dream come true for EZ. So when one of these respected OGs/reactors came down harshly on him and say he didn’t do that well with his verse in the Realest, I’m sure it struck a chord with EZ. Like you said, it was a monument moment for him. There are haters and critics alike who sh*t on EZ, but when it was coming from someone like SK, I’m sure it stung.

If you watch the original SK reaction you can tell SK’s energy was different that day. He was already annoyed by something. Don’t know that if he was late on the reaction or what, but he wasn’t as level headed on his past reviews with Ez Mil. To me it’s a weird situation that escalated from bad to worse. Kito Abashi might have fueled it a bit too. SK even had a video addressing KA and that he held Ez Mil in high regards. But I understand all sides. It’s kinda unfortunate cause SK didn’t deserve the focus on Ez’s freestyle cause there were other hater reactors that catch bullets.

I agree with you bro, do people really think anyone goong to outshine Em when he's on a track with them? Come on it's not going to happen. Probably a mixture of jealousy & envy why SOME people want to knock down EZ a notch or two. At my work I turned some Philippino coworkers from the Philippines on to EZ & when I talked to this one guy about EM signing him the guy trip me out by saying "there's better rappers in the Philippines". I have massive respect for anyone who built themselves up from the ground up. Stevie and Ez represent hard work and dedication to me regardless of how they feel about each other. I wish the situation was better, it is what it is though.

I agree, Ez looked up to SK and this was his monumental moment and SK’s reaction just had a mean spirited nature to it, his body language and what he said “naw dog, this ain’t it” or something super dismissive, I can’t recall exactly but it was just a bad vibe. Realest isn’t my favorite Ez song but of course I was thrilled that Ez was living this dream with his personal idol and the objective GOAT.

I think EZ had to go that hard - the narrative was floating around on his verse and if he didn’t snap back hard via lyrics, would look weak - which is just the nature of rap. He has way more respect now from others outside YT universe, as it is his first chance to show he can freestyle hard, which he bodied.

That was a well done video, thank you for taking the time. I was pleasantly surprised by SK’s reaction (this one, I mean). As you know, I’m not a fan. But of course when this or that drops I’ve been too curious and I’ve watched him (recently). I’ve noticed he’s talked about changing and even going back over old music/reviews to try to be more fair, I guess? Nicer, anyway. I don’t know what made him become self-reflective, but I will rejoice if he’s turned over a new leaf. He handled this one as best as he could, imo. The thing is, Ez did snap on Realest but also it’s my least favorite, just because each one I found after that was better than the last! So I can see where SK was coming from, too. The main thing about Em on the track is that everyone was just waiting for Em to come on. And they weren’t going to get that dopamine hit until they heard his voice. Watch all the reactions and everyone pauses there and you can see the relief come on them, like they finally got what they came for. No one, not even Ez on his most Slashy, can give you that satisfaction, because Em is Em. It’s not even about his verse per se, just his voice, his presence, and the anticipation of what he will do. We all wanted Em. Whoever goes first will automatically take a back seat to that. That’s why Snoop went last on their track, I think, so he wouldn’t have to perform in “the Em waiting room”. :) That said, Ez still killed it, on Realest and this freestyle. :) And I am tickled to see our honey badger riled up. If there’s anything I learned from all this, it’s that Ez doesn’t need us to defend him. We can drive while he shoots. :)

My ability to rock with both of them despite their differences comes from a place of love and nothing else.
