Fun fact about this song: In an interview , anjum said that 'balli ' is his alter ego . Basically Balli is what Anjum would have been if he did not have hiphop. It's a 'what if ' if Anjum never made it into hiphop never got influenced by music. Also in my personal opinion I think most parts of the story might be true from actually witnessing some of the events , considering both talha anjum and yunus come from very humble backgrounds (pretty sure in my assumption that he has seen his fair share of hood life ) and in a time when karachi was uproar in crime like he said in this song 'yeh baat 2012 ki charas shaarab toh shehar mei aam thii...'
