I just had the sensors paired at the dealer. I went with the new OEM version 2208712 (retail 175 each and come with screw) and they paired them while in the bag and sitting on the seat. I marked them and will have dealer install with new tires soon. FYI, a new RC 4" software was released. One of the things it does is remove TPMS readings with no sensors installed. I just had the RC changed as it was defective. I'm skiddish to upgrade the software. The tech at the dealer was very surprised that this worked. Thanks Brandon! :)

Someone else mentioned the update removing the sensor readings. I haven’t updated mine yet either. 😅 Also, thanks for the note and I’m glad it worked for you! Part #2208712 are the newer sensors so good to know those worked out as well. 🤙🏾

WOW!!

When I bought my 2022 Indian Chief Darkhorse motorcycle I couldn't get the sensors. The dealer didn't have them in stock and had never installed them because on the bigger Indian motorcycles they come as standard equipment. After 6 months I was able to get them from the dealer and have them installed. I didn't wait until I needed new tires. Definitely a mistake. It was very costly to have them installed. The installment cost is a discouragement to get them. However, once you have them, well, it is great, although they are not completely accurate, just as in the cars. These sensors should be standard on any Indian motorcycle that comes equipped with Ride Command.

Maybe cost was a reason to not do it from factory. No idea but definitely a pricey install. I do enjoy the feature.

I actually put new tires on my 2022 cheiftan base model and the dealer was able to add the tpms one dealer however did tell me it couldn't be done but it works fine

I saw this on the new pushed software update (July 2024) for the 4 inch ride command -Removed TPMS readings on bikes with no TPMS sensors installed I wonder if Polaris/ Indian did this in response to your video. 🤔

Wow. I’d be hella upset if I updated my ride command and that reading was no longer there. I’ll have to try it and see but maybe I can back up the file somehow first.

They did the same on the 2025 scouts I just bought a 101 scout an there is no reading for it on the ride command but has the option for it ....I wonder if I could do this to mine?

i wonder if you just use a good double sided tape to mount them on the spoked wheels if itll work. forgot they have inner tubes, nevermind lol
