This battle took place at the extreme heights of 18,000 feet in the Himalayas. It features a brilliant tactical maneuver by Major Sonam Wangchuk who defended and counterattacked and then again defended his positions at the mountain pass called Chorbat La at 18,000 feet. A quote from the movie: *"At 18,000 feet, the challenge is not just to fight the enemies, but also temporary memory loss, frostbite and pulmonary edema"* Its told in a story format, like a micro-movie (14 minutes long). So I am sure you will enjoy it. Narration is in English, and what little Hindi is spoken is has official English subtitles. This will get a lot of views and people will appreciate it. Trust me.

2:00 the different color of uniforms represent different regiments. The ones dressed in black with face masks are MARCOS, who are an elite commando force, equivalent to US Navy SEALs.

Whereas the NSGs are more like the S.W.A.T only for counter terrorism operations.

Yup, the opening ceremony was to pay homage to martyred soldiers, from both the world wars till now. The monument is India Gate and there is this place "Amar Jawan Jyoti" ( flame that goes on forever in honour of immortal soldiers)

Nuclear missiles are not shown in parade actually . Only AGNI was because that was like benchmark ( I dont know if that is the right word ) of our ICBM program thats because India isnt proud to have nuclear weapons . They would have never have it if things were right .

I would suggest you to see the unedited version of the same as this video has been edited and has been mixed with some heavy music to make our hearts pump faster. Thousands of people come to India to watch this parade in person. Yeah!! its bit difficult to reach the venue due to security reasons, but its all settled down very soon. And once the military contingents begin to march past you, you thank yourself for not giving up halfway. Its worth watching.... We Indians would love to have you....
