All the people shouting enthusiastically in support of the formation of Pakistan in this film hardly know that in just a year up to two million people would lose their lives and of those who could live, up to fourteen million would loose their homes, land and almost everything they own as a result of the partition. Then for years there would be lingering political and religious tensions, wars and the nuclear weaponization of the Indian subcontinent. Would they have been as enthusiastic that day if they even had a hint of this future?

Still poor and oppressed people 😂😂😂 oppressed by feudal lords and politicians 😂😂😂 at least they would have got job opportunities in United India with no feudal lords, also many students would have come to Bombay, Banglore, Delhi, Kharagpur for studies, there would been IIT in Lahore not just formal education but even madrasa students would have come to Islamic learning centres such as Deoband, Saharanpur, Lucknow
