This episode was the best episode in the biker build off history.

Agreed. They did a few more good episodes, then the network tried to change the show in a way that made it worse-not better.

I remember like it was yesterday. Billy and Larry were the iconic team. Both are all over my garage gallery, and Billy still going today keeps me in the circle of the love and the passion and the style for what they created.

The way you've always spoke of Indian Larry, next level, true mastery and other signs of respect has and always will be one of your strongest brotherhood values. Hopefully shines light and influences to some of the next gens. Keep it coming!!!
The love and respect that he has for Indian Larry. He's even wearing an Indian Larry Motorcycles shirt! Glad I got to see all this stuff in the early 2000's I was in my early 20's and these guys to me were so cool. They still are :)
I was in your shop in Melbourne over 20 years ago and was welcomed like a long lost friend. I have never forgotten that time. Still riding at 66.

That’s great to read. Nothing has changed. We’re still the same
One of the greatest, if not the greatest episode in motorcycle tv history. "Brotherhood and true friendship is worth more than all the money in the world." -Indian Larry
Great to reminisce about what was definitely the best 'Biker Build Off episode ever, I'm sure I'm not the only one who found this very emotional as you talked about Indian Larry. There were several times throughout the video where I got quite tearful, and I noticed you (Billy) had to pause for a moment at one point.. RIP Indian Larry ❤❤
You're a great storyteller, Billy. The way you describe your relationships and history is amazing. I hope you can do another build off some time soon. I miss those days. God bless you brother.

What a classic episode, I've seen it atleast 50 times over the years.
I'm a Black biker and I fell in love with this show! It had me building old school bar hoppers (6) while my friends was on street bike.. My best bike was a bike that had Indian Larry's tank on it that he threw away.! And I still tell people that's was a biker lifestyle that I loved the mostand glad i did it,, now that I'm on a 2019 roadglide 😅
Twenty years ago wow. I remember watching this when it first aired.shows like this made me want to ride.
It was such a great show and brought a lot of notoriety to the chopper industry and it's a show that needs to be brought back. Blue is such a cool bike because it's so old school.
I remember that episode like it was yesterday. What an amazing time in the bike building world. Two titans of the chopper world, working together as friends, and becoming brothers in the chaos, the madness, the laughter, and the love of it all. Luv ya Billy, long live the Mad Genius Indian Larry ❤️ 🙏

wow is all i can say! Thanks for sharing Billy! What an amazing story and tbh that was THE greatest biker build off episode ever
About 10 years ago I brought 4 of Larry's bikes across the country from Brooklyn to San Francisco for Chopper Fest, Larry's bikes were truly works of art. Also was up close with the bike you took part in building after Larry died. I have an old t-shirt of his I'd like to send you.
That was a awesome moment in motorcycle history
Damn this episode got me in my feelings. Thank you for sharing!
No need to thank us Billy. Thank you for allowing us to follow you through your journey. You and Larry definitely my two favorite builders. You take care and stay.

Huuge fan of yours going back to those peak years of the early 2000's Discovery Channel biker content. Loved all the bikes your built for that series, Always loved your builds man and still enjoy your content to this day. thanks.
Funny, there are people who come into your life that make such an impact you can't even explain. Larry was that for you and maybe you and Larry were that for the rest of us. You both have inspired me not only to love American motorcycles but to love life and live it ! Thank You
What a brilliant story, you must have a load of tales you could tell us but riding with Indian Larry has to be a great moment in your life! Thanks for sharing it and ride safe!
Great story, thanks for letting us know. Indian Larry was one of a kind. I had the privilege of riding with you at the ligase ride at Easy Riders. the year he passed in a rainstorm what a memory. Thanks!
At a time, never done before, and never done since. Good to see Indian Larry Covered. You are very fortunate to have worked with The Top Chopper Builder, In The U. S. Thanks Billy! Christ Bless You, Billy Lane!
ALWAYS love behind-the-scene coverage. It puts everything into context!!!.. Thanks for sharing!!!... 20yr anniversary. How time flies.
That was an epic episode! I'll always remember it and its great to revisit it again
Wow, great content. The world is still mourning the lose of a legend.
I don't even ride but got turned on to you in the old Biker Build Off series. You come across as a good guy, hard worker, and someone who enjoys what you do. Glad to find you on youtube and am spending time getting caught. A no BS bike builder.
Best episode, hands down! I miss the brotherhood and the work ethic that was showcased in this era. You are a great story teller as well. Awesome trip down memory lane!!
Wow, that is an amazing story I watched all those shows back then but wasn't aware or at least didn't remember all the things you just told us you have some great memories in that head of yours awesome man !!
I watched the biker build off shows. You and Indian Larry's builds were always my favorites. The metal working was always outstanding but the real standout for me was always the imagination. I'm a welder/fabricator by trade and I learned a ton by watching you fellas. Thanks to both of you and RIP Indian Larry.
Such a great story. Thank you for sharing! You and Larry are huge influences on bikes I’ve built.
I love hearing all your stories Billy. I feel the same way about you as you feel about Larry, Who is one of the all time masters.

I watched that build off back in the day.., watching Billy reflect back was priceless! Indian Larry was a great loss. Thanks for making this vid…
I just want to say it’s been a pleasure following y’all all these years. You have kept the fire burning hot. Motorcycles and especially choppers are what keep me going every day. It’s surprising how such a machine can do so much for a soul. Sad that Larry couldn’t continue on the journey but I’m glad his memory will never be forgotten. Positive vibes to you and your entire family. It’s been fun watching you and the girls grow through the years. Keep up the great work. Hope to meet you in person someday. Keep the faith and Forever Two Wheels.😎

I can say I am fortunate enough to have the same feeling every time I get to ride with my wife now that she became a full on rider herself. That episode was the pinical of what true biker friendships are and continue to be . Thank you so much for posting this Billy . Love it
I remember that episode! That thing would not start & Larry was such a good friend - He even stopped & helped you get that thing running right! He was such a good hearted dude!

It’s probably the best, Larry was brilliant
First off. I had never heard of Indian Larry until this episode. Second it was the best episode of them all. Third life is about stories and that one was epic. It's one of the best I've listened to in a long while. I'm so glad you made this video. You should start fixing people's basket cases and junk and filming it. You would get so many followers. Your knowledge could make someone's dreams come true.

Awesome comment, thank you. I know it was a lot of talking, but I feel that Larry deserved to be honored appropriately. I actually do a lot of what you suggest. I have so much content to edit &!upload. Please keep watching.,
Wild Child and Ol Blue are some of my favorite bikes ever built from 2 of the best bike builders in the world. That build off episode was the best out of all of those episodes. What a story for all ages to hear so thank you sir. R.I.P Indian Larry.
One of my all time favorite bike build offs. You, Billy and Indian Larry were doing things that no one ever did before. True innovators and trend setters. Great to see you still doing your thing Billy with the vintage stuff. Absolutely coolest back story Billy.
I think this was my favorite episode of this series. 2 of the best in the business!
The biker build off episodes with you and Larry mean so much to me and my dad. We watched them when they first aired and still rewatch them to this day. So it was really awesome to hear more about your experience and what it means to you. I'm 33 years old now and it's wild to think you were doing all that at my age. Thanks for sharing brother
Billy, I admire the way you respect and humbly recall your time with Larry. Anybody would be blessed to have such a friend in life (both of you). Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
I remember that day like yesterday 😔 they was something about Larry he was one of them old souls. Laid back and just look at things different in life! Would give you his shirt off his back! Indian Larry lived his life to the full!! Thank you 🙏 Billy for making this episode with Larry. And making this KZread video about the build. Take care Billy from the land down under 🦘🤘👊
Epic!!! Days, thank you for hands on, your creative attitude. Now the turning back time and you rolling out the flatheads!!! Once again Thankyou again!!!
Thank you for telling the story! This biker build off episode is deep in my heart!
my favorite episode of BBO. you and Indian Larry were my favorite two builders. i even had the same pinstriped shoes you had that they used to sell in The Horse magazine. ill never forget Nicky Boots grabbing BBQ ribs from a trash can in Sturgis and eating them, funnies moment ever on BBO.

I was obsessed with those shows when I was younger because of you, Larry, Paul Cox and Jessie. Never would have thought years later Id be able to watch you talk abiout it on a website like this. Beyond cool man!!!!!!!! Glad you to see you still doing what you do! I would do about anything to be able to apprentice under you.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I was 17 when that aired and it’s so cool to re-live watching that show but through your perspective. Keep up the awesome content!
I vividly remember this episode and agree it was the best ever. Billy watching you and Larry together trying to fix Rosy was so cool. You and him collectively going over the bike damn was like listening to Stephen Hawking. You two and also Jesse James in my opinion are among the best ever. Thanks for paying respect to Larry and giving credit where it is most due. Love the videos brother.
This episode larry and you were a big part of my late teen early adult hood i grew thinking u guys are the coolest the chopper craze of the late 90's 00's was so cool. it reminds me of better times never forgoten any of u guys thanx billy and R.I.P Indian Larry two of the greatest bike builders and cool guys of all time. True style never dies
thank, you Billy watching that build off but to hear you today so much history absolutely incredible my hats off to you and your good friend in ours Indian Larry May he rest in peace.❤🤘🙏
Yes and yes! Feels like the 2000's again!! Love to quote some old Billy Lane!
I remember this show well. Its a shame Indian Larry is no longer with us. He was a extremely talented and good dude. R.I.P LARRY. gone but not forgotten. You. Larry and Jessie are all very talented builders.
Wonderful story, created by two genuinely great bikers who's sincerity and vast mechanical knowledge makes following you such a pleasure! Thank you for sharing and being such a grounded person!
That was an amazing episode, I have seen it many times! RIP Indian Larry!
I remember watching this in 2003. And was so impressed by how two people that were so supposed to be competing went against the rules and were helping each other.Ever since I always loved Indian Larry and his outlook on life, and how his principles and beliefs were never influenced or tainted by money or other people ( like the tv producers). Billy was very similar thats why they got along so well. I named my cat Rat Fink, cause I remember Indian Larry liked him from Big Daddy. These were genuine guys who are missed everyday. Billy carry on this legacy of genuine uninfluenced and good charactered people. Hard to find good people like this now. Appreciate you sharing your experiences with us Billy!
Fun to hear the behind the scenes stuff. I can't imagine what you went through when you snapped the second main shaft. Unbelievable.
Thanks for sharing your story. Larry seemed like an amazing dude, build a piece of art, ride the shit outta it, help your opponent and have fun doin it.
Thank You for Posting This! It really put a smile on my face listening to hearing You talk about the behind the scenes with You and Larry! Long Live Indian Larry ❔️💚🧡
The episode was great and I hated to see my two favorite builders squared off together but the brotherhood was amazing and just shows what the ride means to real riders . Thank you Billy and god speed Larry !

Remember the show. This video is Priceless !! Thx !!!
Loved that show. Larry was an amazing character.
My favorite episode, loved Larry’s bike. Really neat to hear the back stories. 👍🇺🇸
That episode was the last time anything real was shown on discovery. Thanks to choppers inc and gasoline alley for taking matters into their own hands. ❤
Wow awesome awesome. 20 years can go by awfully fast 👍
I remember watching this build off, Billy lane had a major impact on me as a young man, more so him then other builders. Because of him (Billy Lane) I build bikes.
