Hello! :) You went to one of the most expensive markets in the city so it's not really reflective of average food costs. Basically, no one in Berlin would ever really pay €12 for a loaf of bread! We have upscale bio markets but also discount places as well. In comparison to other places around the world, groceries in Germany are fairly cheap. Cheers!

Very nice video! I hope you enjoyed Germany, but the rents in Berlin are probably among the highest in the country. Even Cologne is much cheaper and a lot nicer too! ;) Good you called out the scammers, they are so annoying and it's always the same stupid trick.

When I wanted to gave them € 0,07 (seven eurocents), the man didn't take it and walked away. I'm from the Netherlands and German is not a problem for me, I understand it as well. But one of the biggest 'scams' over there is in restaurants or café's: when you order a drink (whether it is coffee, lemonade or beer) they mostly bring you the largest size (often half of a liter/0,5 L) without asking if you prefer small or large (mostly they do have a smaller on the menu).

Those rent prices are the closest to California rents I’ve seen on a travel log so far. I pay $1300 for a studio apt in LA, so Berlin rents are still less, but close. Great content man. Keep up the great work.
