She is best with time. But can't compare with Lata ji. And who will compose & write? These Chapri type music directors and lyricist? They all are in competition with each other to remake old songs better than each others. They are good for "Nanga hi to aaya tha kya ghanta leke jayega" actually nowdays audience are bigger "CHAPRI" than them.

বিজ্ঞানের জগতে যেমন Einstein, Sir Isaac Newton, Stiffen Hocking এদের মত সুরের জগতে তেমনই লতাজি। শ্রেয়া যদি তেমনই বিস্ময়কর ব্যক্তিত্ব হতে পারতো তো! সত্যিই স্বপ্ন দেখি। দেশভাগের যন্ত্রণা বুকে নিয়ে ছিন্নমূল মানুষের বড় হয়ে উঠা আরও আরও বেশি গর্বিত করে নিজেকে। কিন্তু এইভাবে শ্রেয়া, সান, সানুদা, এই প্রকার বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তিদের, অথবা কোন contestantকে উদ্ধৃত করে Onlineএ বাঙালীর গর্ব কথাগুলো এইভাবে না বললেই ব্যাপারটা ভালো লাগে। দৃষ্টিকটুও মনে হয়। ব্যাপারটা প্রকৃতপক্ষে অন্যকে জানানোর নয়। নিজের মধ্যে অনুভব করা। কেননা এই Special গর্বটা আপনার আমার হচ্ছে, আমরা বাংলার মানুষ তাই। অন্যের তো এই Special গর্বটা হওয়ার নয়। অন্যেরা শ্রেয়াকে নিয়ে গর্ব করে উনার অনন্য গুণাবলীর জন্য। আমরাও তাই করি Plus extra আরও একটা করি যেটা অন্যদের জন্য নয়। তাই বলছি, যেটা অন্যদের জন্য নয় সেটা অন্যদের সামনে না বললেঔ ভালো হয়। বিষয়টা বুঝতে চেষ্টা করুন। 🙏

I love Shreya’s singing so much that I can bet anything on it but this is the first time I felt like even Shreya was afraid and couldn’t do justice to the original song. That’s Pyarelal Ji’s effect. Yes she is in the same phase when Alka Yagnik was in early 2000s. After few years the voice will get heavier and maybe more shrill. Same happened with even Lataji and Ashaji but they were able to maintain it well.

@@pank-7423 Lataji is an exceptional case, her voice was very strong even at old age. "Suniyo ji araj, Chitthiye' at 61 years is an example.

@@officially_nitin Yes agreed, Lataji was still at her peak best even in her 60s. She could maintain it well. But her voice texture had also changed, matured and heavier than in her younger days. Even Ashajis voice became more rounder ( no longer sharp) as she aged. Both of them still had tremendous stamina, breath control in their older years. Sadly all the next generation singers like Alka, Kavita,Anuradha, Sadhana didn't have that quality. They lost that power and stamina as they aged and now sound tired and dull.
