Behaviour of embassy is completely depend upon who is the ambassador. Currently the ambassador in Cambodia maybe the worst fellow and that's why not helping the Indians. Indian government should take action against this type of people

The Indian ambassador in Cambodia is Dr Devyani Uttam Khobragade. Some facts about her; 1- Born in a Mahar family hailing from Vidarbha. 2- Daughter of IAS official Uttam Khobragade, who has been implicated in corruption cases notably the Adarsh Housing Society case. 3- Dr Devyani herself has been involved in several controversial incidents especially during her stint in the USA. Most notably the case involving her domestic help, Sangeeta Richards, US visa her employment conditions. 4- She is married to an US citizen. 5- Her children are US citizens and require visa to enter India. @@kavishwarmokal124 You cannot fire a government employee that too an IFS officer (highest civilian servant post in the country, above an IAS or even a judge). She had diplomatic immunity and US authorities shouldn't even have touched her but since US is all about super power and bully, they anyway did.

@@kavishwarmokal124 Their appointment is secured by law (Article 311). Indian government cannot fire. Only courts can that too after proper enquiry which in case of IFS has never happened before. Also, it's not entirely her fault. Read about it properly unless you have the opinion that all government employees are lazy and don't work.

Bro, I appreciate to all of you and Indian embassy of loas too to handle such difficult situation and its difficult for single traveller. By this successful mission atleast combodia border control got to know the power of citizens of India.

That's whr one Indian embassy person is different from other. U must write about both of them to MODI so tht right person is promoted & wrong person learns.

"Indian Embassy in Cambodia" tum logo ki wajah se humare desh ka naam badnaam hota hai. Appne Deshwasion ki izzat karna seekho. Tumhara kaam hai aise time par Indian Tourists ki madad karne ka. Aur tum phone par jawab bhi nahi de rahe. Very Bad of you. This matter could have been resolved in 10mins, had you answered the phone. The Indian HE Ambassador in Cambodia should note this incident, talk to the staff, and make them help the tourists. We are mistreated in the entire SE Countries. Embassies need to be more vigilant & proactive to protect their citizens in similar cases. Last but not the Least - Well Done to the "Indian Embassy in Laos" - We are So Proud of You. Very Well Done. Kudos to all staff. (also an advise, it should not take us 6hrs to resolve such a small issue.) Jai Hind.

Well done Navankur. Everywhere Indians should reach out to government show them that Indian passport is not strong yet. The diplomats have to be strong and need to sit across the table and get the things straight. Another thing is people from Punjab and haryana go by donkey route hence we are suffering. Indian Ambassador in Cambodia is quite famous for her actions according to Wikipedia apart from infamous US visa fraud. After reading the Wikipedia page and viewing your vlog, Cambodia is the perfect place :)

Both governments of Lao and Cambodia make it difficult to cross over the border. Going to Vietnam, Thailand from Cambodia side are hassle free of documentation and passengers can remain on buses while the paid representative can handle all paperworks
