    That is one sweet sweet ride. I have to say I like this better than the valcan s. Yes I joined because of your first bike but a progression of one's life is also what keeps me watching. As you evolve as a bike from bike to bike. Keep it riding.

    Awesome bike man, I’m gonna go into my Indian dealership soon and it’s a toss up between the Scout Bobber and the Chief Dark Horse. They’re just so damn awesome.

    I just upgraded from this to the Chieftain Dark Horse. Both awesome bikes. The Chief was awesome. A LOT more power than a scout, but the scout is also very cool looking. Just ride them both to be sure you get what you want! For me the Scout Bobber was very uncomfortable, so that's what drove me to the bigger bikes and I never looked back. Ride safe brother!

    Dammit man, you taunt me. Indians here in the UK are more expensive, I had my eyes quite heavily on the Scout Sixty ($13.3k in UK vs $9k in US), but pushed it on the high end of my budget and insurance in the UK is like double of anything else making it not an affordable purchase on my current wage. Indians are just gorgeous. Annoyingly, if we got something similar to US prices (I expect import costs of course), I might have been able to squeeze it and if I see a used one at a good price, I still might, but their value so well. If I don't, I'd be getting my Vulcan S in about a month so I am glad the Vulcan S served you so well.

    Congrats on the new bike. I test rode an Indian Springfield earlier this year, and while I loved many things about the bike, I was put off by all the choppy wind buffeting and noise above 50 mph. I've watched several of your videos, and you've indicated that you can see over the top of the windscreen; and yet, it doesn't seem that you get much, if any, buffeting even up to 70 mph. Is that the case, or does it just not show up in the video? Is the windscreen on your bike an aftermarket unit or from Indian? It appears to be a different size than the one on the Springfield. Any feedback you can provide is most appreciated and could make the difference as to whether I end up with an Indian in my future. Ride safe, brother!

    Just shows you got to be careful when you go shopping! :-) Like the dark colors. I'm a bit flaky about style, so there's several cosmetic things I'd want to change, but, I love the look from the seat. has a "clean lines" appeal that I'm not sure I can quite describe, but, that POV really caught my eye. Can't wait for the full dig in on this bike! Gonna check the rest of the Indian line up....

    Definitely check out the scout line up as well. Lots of horsepower (more than probably any other cruiser that size). Very fast and fun, and all-American! I have a Scout 60 test ride video review coming soon that might be helpful :)

    I saw some videos of the 60 that made me think the pipes were "too low" and would drag when leaning to the right. But, the Bobber....ummmm, the Bobber.... :-) it's GEE-ORGEOUS! I'll be watching for the 60 vid. Price-wise, it may not dislodge the vulcan, though....

  • @MOTOBLADE

    @MOTOBLADE

    D L yeah, they are both pricey. The bobber looks awesome, but I sat on it and the seat is worse than sitting on a rock and there's no other seat options as of yet. The scout 60 has a really good lean angle, better than Harley cruisers for sure, but not quite as good as the Vulcan S :) Scout 60 was very comfortable to ride.

  • @just-dl

    that's a good heads up. or...rumps up? either way! good to know! i'm not looking for a rolling recliner, but, I want to be able to ride all day...without being reminded of catholic school.....The Bobber has a smoked-bronze paint job option that I think is as good as anything I've ever seen on a bike. I don't like chrome, so none is my target, but, a little is okay, as it does pop on an otherwise dark machine. so your dark horse is a work of art! Some of the flaring is of a style that's not my thing, but, the bobber fixes that by cutting off half the metal.

  • @MOTOBLADE

    @MOTOBLADE

    6 жыл бұрын

    D L You can get completely blacked out options for the dark horse as well. That was the reason for my upgrade. I could ride the Vulcan S for an hour but then I would have to get off cuz my butt was a bit sore. The dark horse I could ride all day, and in fact I have :) 8 hours and still comfy. The scout 60 isn't quite as plush but I bet I could ride it a lot longer than I could the Vulcan s.

    WOW, what made you fell out of love with the Vulcan S? Quite a bit bigger than the Vulcan S ;-) Wish I could trade mine in without taking a bit hit. That thing is about 4 1/2 times more than the Vulcan S. My wife would kill me :-( I tried to see what my local dealership would give me for my Vulcan S and the amount was laughable.

    Thomas R. Smith Yeah, they gave me 5160 for mine on trade. But considering I only paid 4500 for it, not bad for the Vulcan S. Didn't fall out of love with the Vulcan S, just fell harder in love with the Dark Horse.
