Indian Navy has 13 frigates and in 2025-26 11 more added in our fleet 7 Nilgiri class(6500ton almost a destroyer), 4 Russian Advance talwar class frigates.

INS Vikrant will enter service in Aug 2022,. The one under construction is INS Vishal, which supposedly has a total displacement of about 65000 tons.
