Dhoni: "I think the bowlers brought us back in the game, I think when we went in to bat, we lost too many wickets, last 30 overs we needed 180, the key is to have wickets in hand and we never were in a position. Virat has scored runs for us, but one of the top three needs to be with the middle-order, that will make it easy, not that they aren't trying, it happens. We have got the experience in the batting, it is about them coming back to form, overall we have to grow as a team, we are a good fielding side, but we have to bowl well and develop."
Nasir Jamshed is the Man of the Match: "I just enjoy my batting, last time I missed the Man of the Match but lucky this time they gave it to me. I just kept a cool mind, and Hafeez played a great innings. Pitch was little bit slow, and I just played according to the ball. It was dream to play in the ground."

Ohh nostalgic vibes.. I was in school at that time. This series was played in late December 2012 and Jan 2013. Used to rush back from school to watch the game. Pakistan played superbly in this series. Tons from Nasir Jamshed and Junaid's fiery spell at Chennai.. Winters and early mornings.. Ohh badly miss those days.. ❤❤

The amount of time that Dhoni saved India from those shameful losses is next to infinity but nothing less.... Still remember this series when no batter barely performed in the entire series and barely scoring a 50 it was Ms who scored 50 in every match of the series....... The amount of Credit he gets he owns and deserves every Ounce of it and even more Probably!!!! Nowadays Instagram is filled with kids who barely started watching cricket post 2018-19 don't even know who Dhoni really Was at his best

I did expect india to lose this one. I remember, I was in 8th standard at that time, I came back after playing cricket in the Chilled evening of january 2013. Junaid khan was a making his presence felt in the world at that time and I was of the opinion that anything above 250 would tilt the game completely towards Pakistan. Remember, this team india was playing many players who were passed their prime, be it sehwag or Yuvraj. Kohli failed to perform in this series and they lacked a fast bowling alleounder in Irfan pathan, who was in good form back then but got injured post champions league 2012. Plus Kolkata pitch offers good amount of help to the pacers
