INDIA - THE CHAOS & BEAUTY
The chaos and beauty of India is what sums up my experience of travelling in this fascinating place. This is a country of stark contrasts and I wanted to show them through a snapshot of people’s everyday life. Amongst poverty and wealth, there is so much tradition and spirituality that brings people together. I shot this all in one week and only just scratched the surface. I hope you enjoy it. Let me know what you thought?

@@yashrajsingh6554 what makes you think that? You do know that the majority of these Indians/South Asians are only converted to Islam. They are Indian just like you. It doesn't matter what religion you practice in India, Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Sikhs etc are all Indian and all have a place in India. So stop with your dividing mindset and enjoy the diversity of India and be proud of it.
All that is India! You did India justice brother man. Awesome work, again! We spent many hours all along that river, and it felt as though I was there again, experiencing the contrasts of life, and the humble spirituality of it all.

Kiril I’ve always loved the way you put film together. From Delos stuff to your own travel videos like this one. This video in particular has a style of transitions that I have always been curious about. You speed up footage as you go into the transition then slow it down as you roll into the new scene. It’s especially great when the camera continues to swing in the same path. Is there a name for this style of cut? I would like to research it to learn more. I’m just learning to edit and am only starting to put together my vacation videos with iMovie. I doubt such a program would allow me to imitate what you do with your cuts but would like to learn more. Thanks in advance. I’m a big fan of what you do.

@@brackeng1294 Hey thanks so much for the support! This kind of editing is hard to explain without this becoming paragraphs long. It's got nothing to do with software really but rather how it's filmed and how it's put together. You're right on the money with some of your observations: camera movements should match (so if one clip is going from left to right, the next one should also be going in the same direction), using speed ramping between cuts to make them appear more fluid and help hide the cut. But it's also got a lot to do with how it's filmed, a lot of these transitions I had in mind whilst filming so there is a lot of intentional camera movement. I also make use of masking quite often to help create more seamless cuts where clips sort of blend into one another. I'd recommend just playing around, the more you do that the better you'll get :) All the best
Kiril, you are an amazing film maker & story teller. I’ve been to India, and can totally feel what it’s like to experience it again thru your film. You captured the chaos and the beauty wonderfully. Cheers!

This is one of the best travel videos I have seen in a while. It actually told a story and felt like a movie intro scene, you killed it. The use of your sound was incredible, the drumming of the beat then the scene of the birds was timed perfectfly. It was different from all the over mainstream videographers on here who just put together slow-mo vids and add some tropical house music lol keep it up.
