What snake? If India did not help maldives , maldive will go into china's side it will be bad for India.

Maldives location in Indian ocean makes it an important country for India's strategic point. Letting it go free in China clutches will be against Indian influence in Indian Ocean. A conditional loan facility should be extended rather than grant in aid, which can be used as leverage to contain anti India sentiments in Maldives and to increase Indian presence in Maldives market.

As per the current situation Maldives is a strategically important place for India and India will have to wait for some time to know what Maldives wants in recent times, Maldives is talking like a pro China but if in Maldives Government changes and if it coordinates with India in strategic ways, it is good for India in future.

Maldives know India will help in the name of humanity. Aur hum dete rahenge 😢

आसपास के देशों से डील करते समय भारत को ध्यान रखना चाहिए कि ये अधिकतर इस्लामिक देश हैं और दुर्भाग्य से ये भारत के आस्तीन के सांप ही रहेंगे और इन्हें कठोरता से दबाकर रखना चाहिये अन्यथा ये सब देश भारत को ब्लेकमैल पालिसी ही खेलते रहेंगे।

India should take clear stance on India out champaign in Maldives. Ask them to close it If they want our help and gave Indian government a chance to develop assets there.

They succeeded in blackmailing India for profit.

I think INDIA need to make example of Maldives by not helping in any situation and let our sweet neighbour know dependency on china.

Rather than providing aid, India could consider offering a loan to the other country.

"Agar jukne se rishte mein sudhar ata hai tou jukh jao...., Par agar apko hi bar bar jukna pare toh rokh jao".... The stance maldives is maintaining with us is truly unfavorable.... If they want us to be out.... We are totally fine with it... I know it's pose a treat to us, due to it's strategic location...

This is like hugging someone who spit in your face. They'll spit again. Electing Moizzu as president was called as a fluke. But the voters even gave him a landslide in the parliament elections. Other neighbours also watch our reaction and no wonder Nepal is also learning from this,that there are no consequences for insulting India. Bhay bin na hoye preet.

Sri Lanka example Lelo. When SL was anti India, we still remained non anti SL. Now we have 4 ports in SL. It is better for us to APPEAR good to these people. Some money here and there is fine. Fatkar aane wali hai, jald se jald.
