Hi Shantanu, as your VNIT Jr I am following you since a decade now, truly inspiring how you have built a successful brand from the scratch and now creating massive value for all budding entrepreneurs through this podcasts. I dearly loved your conversation with Suraj and others and although I never comment on anyone opinion, this episode put me slightly off. Pratham is great CEO and I truly admire his ideas and intent however as a responsible influencer, one should NOT malign the other institutes without a factcheck. Listening to this episodes gave me an impression that professors in IIMs are pure theorists, have not updated themselves to the contemporary landscapes and they provide no interaction with industries. This is SO NOT TRUE. Most of the professors sits on the board of biggest companies in India, they mentor, coach the best of the minds, they do independent research and many of the case studies (some of which also becomes bestsellers books and gets published in HBR etc), more than 100 CEOs and celebrities ranging from Bollywood, sports, NGOs, parliamentarians walking into our campuses sharing their ideas every weekend. And as far as investment and incubation is concerned there is NSRCEL etc. situated right in IIM campuses and I know many startups incubated and funded by faculties and alumni as we speak. So I feel its okay to advertise your venture, but as a responsible influencers, without unnecessarily demeaning value adding institutes in the process. Looking forward to more of your videos...

The QS World University Rankings were released today for the MBA programmes. In the QS Global Full-Time MBA Rankings 2024, IIM Bangalore has improved its rank from 50th in 2023 rankings to 48th in 2024. IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta have been ranked in the 53rd and 59th ranks respectively.

Reminds me of IIPM and the extremely flamboyant Arindham Choudhary.

I disagree to Parthan’s comment on Indians going abroad for better education. Half of them go coz they want to follow a trend

Social media marketing is crucial, but without a strong product and a focus on hyper personalisation, success will be hard to achieve. I watch Barber shop every week but I’ve never bought (or will buy) a product of BSC.

Probably the most innovative curriculum in the country.

Should have also mentioned his dad Ashok Mittal, Founder of LPU. Master's Union fees for UG is 29Lakhs, and maximum package a person can get won't be more than 29 LPA and their average for MBA is 33 LPA. Also, just one reason why private colleges to ads/ paid promotions unlike government college is very basic in nature.

New Arindam Choudhary & IIPM -2😂😂 Drop shipping, packaging/premiumisation street sale products, 😂😂😂 make them big business person. ha ha ha ha. ❤❤❤ Dr Vivek Bindra, from where he got that doctor degree? 10 days MBA.These are all scammers. Stupid people will spend 40 Lakh, 2 years time to learn drop shipping and without earning a formal degree at the end of course. How will he give MBA? Even IIMs were not allowed,so they were given a PGP certificate prior to the IIM act in 2017. They are talking MBA to dupe students.

Being an ardent follower of your podcast due to its accomplished guests and genuine insights, This one is rather disappointing.. I personally know people who had really bad exp with Masters Union. This person just focusses on marketing than improving the program outcomes.

I completely agree with this comment. I spoke with their alumni since I was applying to MBA but received negative feedback from most. The fancy things they show on their social media and website are just marketing. For example the CXO mentorship thing, many alumni's told me that they hardly do one meeting and you get nothing out of it. The amount of fees charged for their program is not justifiable at all. Better go to genuine schools like IIMs, ISB or even SP jain and FMS.

A doctor here, got 98%ile in CAT and joining MU for the PGP TBM cohort'24. It's not a place for the typical CAT aspirants who cannot think beyond IIMs.

Let me put things into some perspective. I am currently a student at MU- PGP Course and I absolutely love it. Do we have our own share of problems, well yes we do. But do we hate our institution? Hell no, we love it to the absolute core. Name me 1 institute that gives this pragmatic education with this hands on learning. Additionally, I can vouch for these people supporting what they preach. New age curriculum (we are learning OCEN, ONDC to name a few things from the Indian Tech stack) Interacting with C-Suite exes and build the repo. Understanding the Startup ecosystem by building it with the best around. It just feels sad when these so called opinionated people express their view’s without experiencing the magic that we are building.

You won't find any video with a bad review that is genuine. You will only find unsolicited and opinionated hate comments that have no basis. Hardly 5% of the applicants get into it and the rest 95% will start spreading envious comments.

Okay education is big investment. MU fate will be decided in next 25 to 30 years. I would give you an apt advise ..go to established and reputed institute who have stand the storms since years. MU is a child in front of them who is rn seeking attention through marketing. If they are so genuine they would have choose extensive marketing. Excessive marketing is trap. And he is taking 50 lac fees ...and you ll just get a certificate which is not govt approved. Will you give 50 lac to someone who is just giving a plain certificate.

Was going through comments and one think is for sure is true that your audience doesn't expect such episode. Please avoid organisations with no proof to be on this beautiful podcast.

Do an online MBA with weekend physical events. It is very difficult to leave a job and join a B-shool for people in their 30's and 40's. A large group of these people have the money and want to upskill but can't go out of employment because they have to sustain their families.

This episode is an eye opener

No B school can teach you better than the organisation in which you are working. B schools are there just to provide you a paper degree / certification.

More power to you guys. Our education system soon going be stand out for sure Special thanks to Shantanu for bringing such insightful podcasts

Wonderful interview. Great accolades for Pratham for creating such a wonderful business model

One such edtech scam public should also be made aware of is an organisation called Skill Nation ( co founded by Jatan Shah, Nikhil Parmar and Hardik Raja ). Online workshops conducted by this organisation is basically 1 hour of coaching and 2 hours of watching promotions . Each participant is trapped by paying 299 rupees and gst for a 3 hour workshop to learn excel, chatgpt etc but a participant ends up watching nearly 2 hours of advertisement.

Lets say you provide the best possible learning far better that IIM & ISB My problem: During recruitment i am being judged on my UG college brand (PRIMARILY) and avg. work experience , which is a result of the college brand in the first place. Therefore preventing me from getting a foot at the door, let alone testing the knowledge. HOW DO YOU SOLVE THIS ??

The ROI Master's Union is promising looks incredibly inflated. 33.10 lakhs placement is just a shadow estimate of their PGP program. Moreover, I got into multiple top schools abroad who's ROI doesn't match this level.

No guys, a lot of B schools which come in the top 10 global rankings don’t have their own campuses. They rent out out a space near corporate offices because that’s what helps their students grow. Learning directly from the “future recruiters”!

Dude is charging 30 lakh just in tuition fees for UG program. Total hostel+mess+misc will add up to 50 lakhs for 4 year degree from Master's Union. Turning out to be another inaccessible top private institute🤡 Bhai kuch nahi rakha jeewan mein, keep grinding for JEE, NEET,CAT,GMAT,UPSC etc etc.

All our lives, most of us have been crying for more practical and engaging route to education, and when someone is trying to build it, what’s up with the excessive hatred? I get a healthy amount of skepticism but I think y’all are going overboard.🤔

Someone I know enrolled himself in an Applied Finance course at Masters Union. Needless to say, he lost his hard-earned money and gained zero knowledge related to finance. The only thing he got from there was a Karan Johar set experience . This is a complete sham and I am disappointed with Shantanu for bringing such con artists on the podcast.

I was very much immersed with this podcast, but the moment he mentioned 'Lovely', the aura is gone. Why didn't he study at LPU, if it's projected as one of India's best universities? It discredits his narration for a product(MU) he won't use, but trying to sell to others.
