India wants gender neutral laws. no to gender biased laws. male is the forgotten gender in our judiciary, government, media and society too. It's time to empower male gender too.

I agree with you there's no gender equality in our judiciary😂

These new laws makes perfect sense to me. The only issue I have is with the parliamentary debates getting hijacked by non-sensical issues.

Thing is, while I don't like it, it's not something new. Intercourse with the promise of marriage was considered a rape by the old laws as well, so there's nothing new in that. I don't agree with it, because it is cannon fodder for false cases but hey, at least its not any worse than before.

If women want to hook up, society will move towards that, and when women feel like settling down, they can. The male has very little choice in this issue. Because of how women are, they usually get to be the picky one in the dating scene. Laws empowering women to do whatever they want to only makes hookup culture more likely, not less likely.

In a country full of corrupt people, these laws either will not be implemented or people will continue using them to their own advantage 😄😄😂😂. The real challenge will be to implement these laws and delivering justice without any political/social bias which unfortunately is not possible.

Politicians are interfere with the cases, and support the culprits.

Organised criminal conspiracies /hidden agendas (also with anti national traits/breaching constitutional rights of citizens))to target a citizen( or government)adopting different tactics,in such situations there should be law provisions to safeguard the person who is being targeted thru various tatics as mentioned.This is more relevant when the objectives of such conspiracies are well understood and substantiated as endorsed thru the sequence/ history of happenings even before the new laws came into existence.

If anyone is proven guilty of a crime, he is not allowed to contest elections. But just charges aren't enough to make someone ineligible for elections because if that were the case, whoever is in govt can misuse their power and just lodge bogus cases against the whole opposition and win easily. Any country that disallows elections of those suspected of criminal offenses are usually dictatorships.

In new law power of police is extremely high and mis use of power shall be so high that average general people shall be suffered

I am mainly against the 90 days of jailing by Police, Police power can be misused by Police and local politicians. Though it is thought as deterrence, but eventually people in power will misuse the loopholes and make it legal.

Of course, Congress will oppose anything that is good for the country! They gained from British rule and British laws.

There should be a balance ahd check in this 90 days jailing in Police custody. There is no mention of custodial deaths and harsh treatment of political victims and power lobby victims! Who can be really innocent.

Good reform. It will take time to fully roll out. But that pain has to be borne. And, surely Modi govt will improve the provisions based on real scenarios faced.

criminal laws are implemented not against criminals it is against opposition and whose are against the ruling govt. In colonial law each and every lines in the law are debated in the parliament and people knew which committee drafted the laws. now New law violates past supreme court judgements and we didn't know which committee draft it and our MA political science graduate and doctorate in riot , lynch and rape drafted it i think so.

like farmers law this law also protested by people.
