The Wodeyar Royal Family's contribution to India is so immense that it is really big heartedness that Jayachamrajendra Wodeyar accepted Democracy whole heartedly when time came for them to step down , they did voluntarily even though the people of Mysore state weren't ready to let go of the Royal family's administration . @Prakaash A Nizam was not Indian , he considered himself Turkish (most of them were descendants of Turks) while Wodeyars were always proud of their Indian history and had people's interest in their minds and hearts. They protected the people of Mysore from harm always.

Wodeyars snatched the power from vijayanagara dynasty. They were overpowered by their minister hyder ali. Though mostly were titualar monarchs. Their contribution cannot be neglected as well

I am using Mysore Sandal Soap since 65 yrs, it is a great soap using original natural ingredients. Experiencing this soap then only one would come to know the greatness of this product.

Agarwood Assam should start making handmade soaps based on traditional ittra’s concept like Ruh Khus, Ruh Mogra, Zaffran ,etc. The industry of handmade soaps has a bright future!

At this rate i just smell the soap everyday while bathing

I use Mysore sandalwood soap since from childhood and so satisfied with it . We kannadigans love it.

These soaps are extremely good and healing! My roommate had an extreme problem with acne to the point where she would sit and cry because of the pain. Nothing was helping. She got this and it hardly took any time to clear out her skin. I am a witness to its miracle! Wouldn't listen to anything otherwise. It was not this particular brand but certainly pure sandal soap.

This is from Karnataka government & runned by maharaja of Mysore family till today .& It's best soap & will be.

The ingredients were Sodium Palmate or Sodium Palm Kernelate, that is the Sodium salts of Plam oils were used. It would be better, if they use pure Coconut oil to produce the soap instead of Palm oil.

There is a similar product that i have enjoyed which is called Nandini Kesar Almond Goti, people use it as a facial but i have used it as a luxury soap. how long does it last on skin after shower? i like the aroma of sandalwood its necessary to make more these with longer lasting aroma type soap also i noticed western type soap dont have longer lasting smell compared to those marketed products in asia like lifebou and lux of asia tend to be excellent for daily use , very sweet smell
