저도 올해 초 첸나이로 한달동안 교환학생으로 가있었는데 영상 보니까 인도가 너무 그립네요ㅠㅠ 인도 사람들의 뜨거운 저 시선 아직도 기억납니다ㅎㅎㅎ 조심히 여행하시고 좋은 추억 쌓고 오세요~

5:17 it's called Ashoka stambh "King Ashoka was greatest ruler of india. He had never lost any war. During Kalinga war Ashoka realised what he had done and went observing mournfully the streets of the Kalinga kingdom seeing the destruction he had caused. The heap of dead bodies lying and the streams of blood flowing devastated him. Ashoka renounced violence and started to follow the path of Buddhism (he was Hindu king) just as he knew his wife wanted him to.she sent her children to live with him which consoled him for a while. His Children were spreading the concepts of Buddhism through out the world, and he the twilight of his life was using every resource India had, to fund humanitarian causes. His funding of free health care, medical research and distribution of food to the needy were very hefty projects. But, he had not stopped there he reduced the living standards of the court to create a more level society Askoka became known for his greatness and was called "Devon ka priya"- beloved of god, due to his symolic acts.

oh wow it is ashoka stambh. I also heard that Ashoka is greatest king. and also there is a NGO name "Ashoka" . I wanted to enter there when I was a student.

@@travelerlasol8112 it's Iron Pillar. built during the Gupta Empire (probably by Chandragupta 2) and not by Emperor Ashoka of Maurya Empire. Ashok Stambha is in Saranath in Central India, the top of Ashok Stambha hosts Lion Capitol, which is the National Emblem of India.

Old Delhi is not good for forgieners to visit I prefer new Delhi over Chandni chowk ( old Delhi)
