Kochi metro holds 25 % share in water metro. In kochi metro Central govt has a minority % share.. these r the digits... All international loans made available through central govt. So in Kochi Metro Central has also 13% share. Obviously Kerela Government puruaded the projects and credits goes 2 State. But simultaneously Central Government also Guaranteed the Loan of Kerela State Government 2 the German company which worked in Water Metro project.
Even other costal cities like Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai should work on implementation of such a project.

@@vivekng4632 No its a Kerela Government's initiative and State funded project ..But Central Government have rendered necessary assistance. Kerela Government has 74% share and KMRL has 26% share. In KMRL Central Government has 50% share. So in Kochi Metro Central only has 13% share. But Leave all these...for progress of Country all State and Central Government should cooperate each other.
This is the project of Kerala Government. There is a special agreement in this project that Kerala itself has to bear the cost. kmrl is 50-50, but, there is a special agreement on this specific project. 100% cost bear by Kerala as per that separate agreement in the case of water metro. So, central govt. 0 share on this.
Looking forward to visiting Kerela and Goa this year. Cruise looks beautiful and peaceful. Thanks Modiji for the developments

Yes sir, but we in Kerala, badly needed Silverline project also, which is a straight rail service , connecting one end to other end of Kerala within 4 hours, in short time. This is a speed rail project, and it's cost also less compare to present rail available in entire Kerala. BJP and Congress are opposing this as they don't want this in present Government s tenure.
