O.K. let me tell you the real story of Pau Bhaji. Pau Bhaji was literally invented in Prarthna samaj area, Bombay, outside Harkisandas Hospital footpath, on a cart, around 1968 by a man called Machinder. His business used to start at 9 pm to 2 am, for 5 hours only. He started this business for night time taxi drivers and last show movie goers. There were 2 types of bhajis, first was the one you are eating right now of Alu, Tomato, onion and green peas priced 50 paisa with 2 pau for 10 paisa extra. The second was called mixed bhaji, (which is completely forgotten nowadays), made of all sorts of vegetables like bhindi, bengan etc. etc. of course with alu, tomato, onion and green peas priced 60 paisa with 2 paus for 10 paisa extra. Around end of 1969 the pappads of shaggddi's were introduced to be eaten with pau bhaji, if you will, at 10 paisa each. There was nothing like butter in the bhaji. But there was butter, on demand, in 2 paus at 10 more paisa extra. And now almost 200 rupees for bhaji added to butter (not butter added to bhaji). And not butter applied on paus, But paus drowned in butter. And no pappads to accompany. Real Bull Shit. You are not eating pau bhaji, you are drinking butter.

yes 100% true & that time cost was 75/- per plate now it is 190/- 3 people when eat then cost goes to 600/- directly. and quantity ia also reduce. pav size is also reduce. very costly as per quantity and price.

🙏See the price it's almost 200 with 2 pav. It's expensive and only rit for a black market guy like guju businessman. Insted eat in small hotal for 120 or 130 and take 4 extra pav. It will satisfy your crave for pav bhaji. Or prepare it at home with extra Amul it will cost you only 60 to 70 rs for complete pav bhaji. Pav bhaji is easy to make if you put the correct amount of masala. Love you all guys.

Actual price of pavbhaji is 70 to 90 maximum in mumbai & he charge people 189 which is almost double so obviously people criticize him. Common sense bro And the main ingredients of pavbhaji are Green pees and capsicum are aslo missing 😜

Pav Bhaji was first made by 2 Rajasthani brothers in a hand cart after 9 pm in Gulal wadi in the early 1970s.

I've been there a while back. The insane amount of butter they use is just totally unnecessary. With so much butter ofcourse everything will taste better. After a few bites your whole mouth, throat is just fully coated with butter. Difficult to taste anything else later.

Ghar pe banao, isse zyaada tasty banega aur 100 rupee ke andar ban jaaega,yeh log sirf tamatar ki puree zyaada daal dete hain aur aloo daal dete hain, shimla mirchi, matar, gobhi to daalte hi nahi, pav bhaji ke naam pe pata nahi kya de rahe hain
