India's First - Kochi Water Metro - കൊച്ചി വാട്ടർ മെട്രോയിൽ ഒരു ഫാമിലി ട്രിപ്പ്‌ #techtraveleat #kochiwatermetro
Kochi Water Metro was started by seeing new possibilities in the tourism sector of Kochi. Although it has been a long time since its inception, I wasnt able to travel on it. Finally, last day I traveled on the Water Metro with my family. Our journey was from Ernakulam High Court Jetty to South Chittoor. Water Metro services are provided by boats equipped with modern safety facilities and telecommunication devices. It is India's first water metro system and Asia's first integrated water transport system. Another highlight is that you can travel in AC and enjoy the beauty of Kochi Bay at a low cost. Like the Kochi Metro, the Water Metro is also disability friendly. People coming to Kochi must definitely experience the Water Metro journey.
കൊച്ചിയുടെ ടൂറിസം രംഗത്ത് പുതിയ സാധ്യതകൾ കണ്ടുകൊണ്ട് ആരംഭിച്ചതാണ് കൊച്ചി വാട്ടർ മെട്രോ. ആരംഭിച്ചിട്ട് ഏറെ നാളുകളായെങ്കിലും ഇതുവരെ അതിൽ യാത്ര ചെയ്യാൻ സാധിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല. ഒടുവിൽ ഈ കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം കുടുംബസമേതം ഞങ്ങൾ വാട്ടർ മെട്രോയിൽ യാത്ര ചെയ്യുകയുണ്ടായി. എറണാകുളം ഹൈക്കോർട്ട് ജെട്ടിയിൽ നിന്നും സൗത്ത് ചിറ്റൂരിലേക്കായിരുന്നു ഞങ്ങളുടെ യാത്ര. ആധുനിക സുരക്ഷാ സൗകര്യങ്ങളും വാർത്താവിനിമയ വാർത്താവിനിമയ ഉപകരണങ്ങളോടും കൂടിയ ബോട്ടുകളാണ് വാട്ടർ മെട്രോയിൽ സർവ്വീസ് നടത്തുന്നത്. ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ആദ്യത്തെ വാട്ടർ മെട്രോ സംവിധാനവും ഏഷ്യയിലെ ആദ്യത്തെ സംയോജിത ജലഗതാഗത സംവിധാനവുമാണിത്. കുറഞ്ഞ ചെലവിൽ എസിയുടെ ശീതളിമയിലിരുന്ന് കൊച്ചിക്കായലിന്റെ സൗന്ദര്യമാസ്വദിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് യാത്ര ചെയ്യാമെന്നതാണ് മറ്റൊരു പ്രത്യേകത. കൊച്ചി മെട്രോ പോലെത്തന്നെ വാട്ടർ മെട്രോയും ഭിന്നശേഷി സൗഹൃദമാണ്. കൊച്ചിയിൽ വരുന്നവർ തീർച്ചയായും വാട്ടർ മെട്രോ യാത്ര ഒന്ന് എക്സ്പീരിയൻസ് ചെയ്യേണ്ടതാണ്.
