Manmohan Autos Royal Enfield Chandigarh recently delivered India's inaugural Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 in Chandigarh. The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition is an extremely exclusive model, limited to only 25 units worldwide.
Derived from the SG650 concept unveiled at the 2021 EICMA show in Milan, the Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition stands out with its distinctive features. The bike boasts custom-designed, hand-painted body panels adorned with gradient-style graphics and neon detailing. Each of the 25 units has undergone meticulous customization over several months, ensuring their uniqueness, and they will never be reproduced. Although referred to as a neo-retro roadster by Royal Enfield, the single-seat version exudes a bobber aesthetic. However, customers have the option to include an additional pillion seat.
While the Shotgun 650 shares its primary chassis with the Super Meteor 650, it incorporates various modifications, including different wheels and overall geometry. The ergonomics offered by the Shotgun differ significantly from other 650 models in Royal Enfield's lineup. Under the hood, the Shotgun 650 features the visually identical 649cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin cylinder engine found in other 650s. Generating 47bhp and 52Nm, this engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox. It's worth noting that Royal Enfield may have fine-tuned the motor for the Shotgun to align with its distinctive persona.
