Thats true, but people who have the problem with height need to adjust the touring seat, in this process it will get damaged somehow, so its better to remove the touring one and install the split seat if you are only riding within city limits and not going to Leh Ladakh etc etc.

Split seats doesn't looks good on bullet. Bullet is known for its legendary seat and back light, that's the identity of mighty bullet...I also own same BS4 Bullet 350 X ES and is in fully stock condition...

I'm also owning same bike but after one year of experience.. The standard seat is good and soft but Im experiencing back pain after long trips.. I also have classic ..I have tested suspension seat.. really suspension seat will save your spine.. otherwise it will effect your spine on long term. Suspension = Bike shock absorbers + suspension seat ( will save your spine, finally it depends those who are suffering from back pain and daily commuters )

Stock bullet x looks better. I would only consider changing to broader rear rim to alloy and disc brake, gas charged rear suspension only. And swingarm if needed to accommodate broader alloy.
