That particular stretch is lonely and creepy as u said. Once me and my wife drove from Krishnagiri to Nagpur one stretch and found ourselves caught in heavy rain and dark forest roads after Adilabad. Roads full of potholes and it was in our midsize sedan. It was scary. Our first road trip 😅 to ladakh

My thought on the title : sometimes i feel like overlanding is a new thing in India which is raising slowly, there might be some people who might have been doing it for ages but as a majority its really NEW!! it will really take good amount of time for people to understand what is overlanding. Once there is understanding slowly the cars will change, rigs will be developed accordingly and there will be separate market in India. For now I would not say India is not ready but I will say is India is getting prepared for it.
