Very nice informative Video. I suggest our government should build depots to keep arms and ammunitions on strategic places along these railway lines so that it will be helpful during emergency. I also suggest to develope tourist places along these routes so that government can fetch some revenues.Hope all these projects complete as early as possible.

@@BadBoy-ik4od in private there is only profit ...no safety ..u can see in aerolanes how safety norms r compromised to consume less fuel n gain more profit ...tomorrow trains may cost upto 4000 for small distance ...jobs will be destroyed. ..those who want to get gov't job there opportunities will become more meager as a result more intense competition ..which may led to dissatisfaction. ..underemployment. .n poor effect on health of youth ...a loss making asset cant be made profitable especially railways like else where in the world. .

Have one question, it's very good to see so many new projects announced or under way. But why isnt our railways thinking on how to improve our existing western and central lines connecting Churchgate to Virar, and CST to Pune for everyday commuting of people for daily work ? These two lines are so overworked beyond their capacity and people hang out on doors and windows to travel daily. Hope the new govt of Maharashtra takes note and demonstrates to it's people that they have made a difference . Thanks.

Government initiative for development of said railway projects is laudable and of military operation purposes to counter threats from adjoining hostile neighbours , now we can send military weapons and mobilise our forces at desired places at borders easily. SHEKHAR NEW DELHI

Where you build double track railway lines, why don't you build triple line, one line exclusively for goods trains. The increase of cost is bearable but the benefits will be immense.

All projects are good but they appear to be coming in too late. Looking at the current ongoing tensions in the Ladakh and Kashmir regions, don't you think we need them now more than ever. Some of them were approved back in 2012 and 2013, and still their construction is "simply ongoing"... This is somewhat disheartening. The efforts should not become like "start digging wells when we feel thirsty".
