I love this song, India Arie is just an inspiring artist and soul. In another live performance she said, “This song is not bout wanting a specific person, it's not to a specific person...this song is to the energy of love to come and bless my life.” And I thought that that message was soo beautiful!!! I absolutely love this song. And this artist. India.Arie has been one of my favorites since the very beginning. I remember one night when I was young, I fell asleep with the TV on, and it was on the BET network. During that time, he’s so used to come one at midnight, called midnight love. Well that particular night day premiered this song on the show, and the melody literally woke me up from my sleep. My eyes were affixed to the television as the video played. I immediately fell in love with the song, and it has been my favorite song ever Since. It is also my favorite song to sing. All of the songs are written by her are the most beautiful songs in the world, and they all have a deeper meaning, which is why I am in love with her music.

I feel robbed because I only heard this song last year for the first time and it took me a year to find out what it was called. I went straight out and bought india's acoustic soul cd. I was shocked this beautiful song has been around for so long and here in the UK I had never of heard of her. Absolute perfection in the songs lyrics and the way India sings it.
