I think to make more Indian love football this year's SAFF should be promoted well in India. Indian football lacks everything

Without the early red card, we could have given a better firght. Anyways it was a great learning experience. We will meet Qatar again this time and hopefully offer better competition. We need to play more friendlies with middle eastern and far eastern sides.

Gurpreet should be playing for a premier league team. He's just outstanding with his reflexes. Single handedly carrying the team. Our forwards are good, need improvements in midfield and defence.

No. He had a good game but I dont think he'd make it in a top European league. One example is that he should have caught the ball when he slapped it out. He made some good saves.

For some reason we play a holding 4-4-2 with left and right midfielders which would've worked 40 years ago. We don't play to our strengths basically 0 offensive tactics. Reacting to Qatar attack is the only thing our team is doing . Idk sunil chettri is an amazing player but he too is getting old now so idk why we can't run a 433 false 9 with an aging but experienced and clinical striker all we had to do was let him create space in the attack with sunil running the offence and our wingers cutting inside . We definitely have talent here but sports should be apolitical which is definitely not the case in India

😡😡😡🤬😒 Honestly, Indian team performance wasn't POOR but horrific. I can assure u that India has much much better players than these !!! Sooo, many flaws & silly mistakes i can't even believe that such low stamina players represents us on International Platform means look at them they r just drained out. They were not even able to hold or check the opponent properly. It's a high time to give control & almost 80% vacancies to the players from Hilly States like J&K, UK, HP & North East etc. Even, football players of my own local district can defeat this team easily. & I believe their are many good talents around the Nation but, the mentality of No career in Football & Racism towards hilly areas people combined with nepotism is leading to our continues failure !!! & HEAD OFF TO THE GOAL KEEPER HE IS PROBABLY THE ONLY INDIAN FOOTBALLER ON THE GROUND.

Only our goalkeeper was in the match, the rest were looking at the ball at a very close range. Lucky only because the Qatari team weren't sharpshooter.

It's a shame that our players can't even take the ball on turn and pass the ball. Forget about taking players one-on-one. The potential is there but the coach has failed to implement his methods. Constantine was doing a better job.

@@saimandebbarma4033 I agree but there are good players in our team that can play properly. The coaches have failed to guide them and give them clarity on how to find spaces and hold the ball. They need to play football from their minds. Technically they are good.

I agree. Constantine knows the Indian culture well and had been part of the set up for a while. Have got more talented players coming through now and it was time for India to make improvement. Everyone thought after the performances at the Asian cup that this would be the case but seem to have gone 10 steps back unfortunately

He was a high profile coach for a team like India but they're better suited with someone who is tactically sound - a young coach with a real passion for the game rather than someone who is there based on their name

Toh have a keeper like gurpreet in our national side is pride and a gift. And about the team,, it's like playing all the major tournaments in Asia and having our own isl,,still so much is there for Indian team to cope up with the pressure in an international tournament. But yes they are progressing and eventually one day we will qualify for the world cup. Till then just wait and cheer them up🙌

It could have been very bad score card for India but our GK God stopped them.
