Despite all the dreadful reviews of this machine we’ve had one since 2009 , used several times a day no major issues with it , it’s still going strong.

I wonder if this sensor would really sense the detergent and start the rinsing itself. Somehow I never believed it.

@@rayskiyroma they don't have 90, they are too basic they don't wash they have a dispenser in the door for detergent which is horrible they only have 4 cycles no start button and many more

Imagine if Whirlpool designed an Indesit Moon with a circle LCD display (in place of the Indesit logo and countdown lights) and WiFi so that extra programmes can be used that way lol They'll probably have to name it 'Indesit Sun' to overcome the mouldy flashbacks.

According to its manual there is a detergent sensor inside the machine. Basically if detergent is detected, the machine will perform a rinse only cycle - though I've never seen one of these actually do that so it might as well be a marketing BS.

What does F1 mean on an Indesit washing machine? F01 - Electronic circuit board fault. Issue: Washing Machines is not operating - some or all functions are not selectable. Advice: We recommend you disconnect (unplug) the appliance from the mains supply for a minimum of 2 minutes. Reconnect supply and wait 30 seconds and try starting the machine again.
