Independence Way | Timpuri Noi, Bucharest
Timpuri Noi is a metro station in Bucharest serving highways 1 and 3. In the area of the metro station there are Nicolae Titulescu University, Titu Maiorescu University and Dimitrie Cantemir Christian University in the Dâmboviței quay area, as well as other educational institutions: School 81, School 97, Mihai Eminescu National College. The headquarters of some companies from the Timpuri Noi neighborhood are also located in the area.
In 1979, the first section of the Bucharest metro was put into use, between Timpuri Noi and Semănătorea stations
