Honestly the same, I’ve been picking up higher and higher topics in math since seventh grade. I’ve always been fascinated with math. In one of my school programs (IXL) has a diagnostic test that can show your growth in math represented as levels. If now has become a hobby for me to easily max the levels out (and I have on other programs too). Since it has been maxed, I’ve been looking to this channel to improve and further accelerate my growth. Considering this comment was 2 years ago, you have probably grown a lot more and I wish you good luck!

Here's a tip I made up for integrating and differentiating Sinx and Cosx. Draw a clock and put cosx at 12, sinx at 3, -cosx at 6 and -sinx at 9. The clockwise direction is all the integrals and the counter clockwise direction is all the differentials. It's a lifesaver.

Just curious as someone switching from Philosophy to Computer Science, how have you found the switch?
ive gone through lots of his videos and what really separates him form other teachers is that he explains every part (down to the last minute detail),like really basic stuffs too which i think is actually the most important part since everybody isnt on the same lvl . be it phy, math, chem, etc most online leanrning platforms just do things directly and get to the main point , its this little extra explaination on specific parts that really builds the foundation on understanding the topic(s)
If I could give this more than one like, I would. I just did calc 1 last semester and I'm moving into calc 2, but istg it's like everything I learned went out the window after finals. All I needed was a quick rundown to remind me and this was perfect!!
I cannot EXPRESS how much this has saved my life. Thank you so much for this !!!
Thank you so much for this! I'm a first-year engineering student and this is helping a bunch!

I can't explain how much I needed this class it is damn good ! This video clear all my doubts so thank you😊
Man our decade is amazing; we have 3Blue1Brown to understand the concept of math and we have you to actually understand how to solve it. This is absolutely perfect, before I found you it was either solving complicated ones while skipping over the basic, or just solve a simple one and spending way too long on it. This one is perfect! Going quickly over a lot of them, from easy to harder, but as you went over the basic you actually can understand and do everything. You can pause, so this is just the perfect way to do it, thank you a lot ! I have a lot of trouble understanding the formulas and connecting dots with ADHD so to me formulas are kinda useless, I have to actually understand how to solve stuff like this practically for it to stick as a lot of people are very good at overcomplicating when explaining when in practice its ""simple"" Thank you!
Thank you so much for making such quality Math videos. You've been saving every Math exam since Grade 9. Thanks a lot !

my math teacher insists that we students struggle on a problem with no formulas, no instructions, no references to find the answer; just look at it hard enough & come up with an answer. i feel like her degree in maths makes her think it's easy. she's remarkable in her craft; the problem is probably that i just learn differently. not a very "math-brained" person. thank you for your solemnity, education, & will to lead others to what you've learned. grateful always.
