Headcanon: they are all ghosts and their form or condition is a hint to how they died. Mc dee looks like a shadow, perhaps he lost everything at one point and just gave up.

as far as i know, SplatJack said that the mod's gonna have bonuses. i tend to assume that they'll have at least some kind of narrative to them so there's that correct me if i'm wrong

A pretty amazing yet creepy mod, definitly showcases the horrors that sometimes come with the railroad pretty well. From all the Oddly disfigured people, to the equipment like 'Sign," to the Phinease Gage reference with Careen, an amazing mod it is.

The 5th bit (Crash) is blind, but he created prosthetics for his eyes. 1 - effect (Noisbox) device with artificial intelligence. 2 - The effect (MadMask) has no emotions. 3rd Effect (Desiel) train mechanic, friends with Mcdee 5 - effect (Gerald) illegal development of Specter to increase the energy consumption of the train. 1st melody (Kaz) The woman, the stoker of the train, has a relationship with Jake (confirmed by the developer) 2nd melody (Klaus) The butler of the train, one of the best employees. 3rd melody (Locke) A dangerous criminal, escaped many times from a psychiatric hospital, killed victims by gnawing them with his teeth. 4th melody (sign) He was possessed by a ghost. 1 - voice (Specter) Presumably the head of Express. 3 - voice (Careen) Despite his appearance, he is a friendly, minor employee of Express. 5 - The voice (Desby) Took Locke to prison.
