The water noise is a bit silly. Lets hear the machine.

10:30 this particular case it's not Thermite welding. This is melting both rails using electric current and press using hydraulic one rail to another - better method but requires heavy specific equipment.

Exactly. See my comment. Flashbutt not thermit. Two completely different methods. The metallurgy in flashbutt far superior. Thanks mate. ☺

Are we supposed to believe the sound used in the sleeper casting part is correct.....use the natural factory sound or nothing at all, don't just add random factory noises that don't apply.

Very intersting video. At 10: 32 narrator mentions thermit welding. The actual method of welding shown on this film with captions says flash but welding far superior to the thermit method. Please note I am not a track guy I rode thd rails in a locomotive as a driver ( engineer ). Google thermit welding really worth a look. Good track is the back bone of the railway. I salute you track people. Well done guys and girls.

Enjoyed the video. I was shocked to see that the hardware for the concrete ties were added after casting. I thought it would have been part of the pre-mold process, making it all one piece. Thank you for doing this video.

That welding musta used a year's worth of home electricity for one house to do one weld.

@@MACHINERYTECHNOLOGY The issue isn't the voice - it's the mispronunciations. If you listen, you'll hear them. Any AI that makes such an avoidable mistake isn't worth the money.
