I'd like to recommend something from my country 🇨🇱 since you speak spanish, Mon Laferte "Tu falta de querer" o Los Jaivas "La poderosa muerte", the last ones are kind of our Zeppelin, they blend rock and andean music since the 70's.

For people who don’t know, Luis Miguel is like the Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds of Latin music. Wildly successful singer/songwriter/producer from I think the late 80s(?) but definitely throughout the 90s. It’s the kind of music your mom listened to, but it’s timeless. Excellent reaction.

He's success wise the Michael Jackson/Elvis Presley/The Beatles of latin music. And just like those 3 i just mentioned he's still going strong. Just in 2019, on his last tour, he turned in the most successful tour in the history of Spanish music. The only other Latin artist that can challenge Luis Miguel's success is Julio Iglesias. Julio Iglesias is the Latin artist with the most albums sold in history. I'm from Luis Miguel's era but Julio was amazing in his time. Respect to those who've earned it...

He was born in Puerto Rico by accident. My sister was born in Juarez Mexico by accident because my moms went into labor while visiting family. The rest of us were born in LA. There is a singer named Amanda Miguel who was born in Argentina and was from there, but as a young woman she moved to Mexico and she always says she is Mexican and uses some words she heard that “us Mexicans are born wherever we want” meaning it’s not where your from but who you believe you are and she believes she is Mexican and is now a citizen of Mexico. There are a lot of performers who say this and the most recent is a singer named Mon Leferte who loves to Mexico to pursue her singing career
