I designed a 4ws and 4wd pedal powered kart with the ability to be engaged in 4 wheel lock. I started building the rough prototype in 2016. The frame was nearly done then I had a return of the Lyme disease that I was treating in 2015. Still battling Lyme disease I dismantled it in the fall of 2022. I’d love to start over building it except this time with an aluminum frame. I’m just working too much right now to tackle the project.

This channel has become like watching lifestyles of the Rich and famous none of this stuff can never be afforded by any of us so all of these engineering breakthroughs don't mean squat for humanity

its nice to dream tho! most significant improvements in technology start off really expensive, only available to the 1% but after a while becomes alot more affordable for us normal folk! so it does make a difference, its the waiting part that sucks

Some of these are neat. Nearly all of them cost too much for what they offer. There are two models I can get from Utah Trikes which is an American e-trike company that out performs all of these machines in terms of cost and range. The first is an e-quad (about $6,000 US dollars) for a single rider/driver. It features a custom welded frame, up to 10 e-bike batteries (each offering up to 50 miles of range per charge), a rider capacity of 400 pounds, a platform capacity of 500 pounds, with the option for an extended length bed. At this configuration the driver can expect up to 500 miles of range with pedal assist level one. The second is a side-by-side dual person version (about $10,000 U.S. dollars) that basically doubles the range and maximum payload. With either I an outfit them with an Eco Flow 2 solar & battery powered air conditioner & heater combo unit that runs for up to 8 hours per charge, I could have it fully enclosed to make it weatherproof and lockable for safe storage of personal gear, I could even use it as a short-term camper.

No. In Canada, if you are caught going cross country or grinding through mud off road or off an existing track in almost any kind of vehicle, you'll end up with a fine and possible jail time. "Crown land" or better defined, "Canadian wilderness" is ruled with an iron glove. Getting caught is unlikely as there is little enforcement. But, like most Canadians, I can't bring myself to think I'm going to head off on nothing more than a compass bearing in some kind of wicked all terrain beast. I've spent over 40 years in the British Columbia backcountry and have yet to see anything remotely related to this machine. We have skidders in the forest industry. But you better have a current harvest permit before you start walking all over the bush or you'll end up with an hour day of outside exercise time.
